Clémence Damour has just gotten home to Paris after having traveled the world for 2 years. Not long after she gets back one of the caretaker of the apartment block she's living in with her parents is found murdered, and the police is quick to suspect Clemence of the murder.

Sometimes the pace of the book was a little slow. I liked the mystery, but I was confused about the personal life of Clemence. I do plan on reading the next couple of books in the series to see if it will get better.
