Review: The book started out slowly and I wasn't particularly enjoying the first 100 pages, but then it definitely got better, less political blathering, more action. All in all a typical Higgins book - wouldn't want to read one every day, but enjoyable occasionally.

Review:
This was a very interesting introduction to this series. Many times I heard that the author's other character series, Anita Blake, was getting to sexually motivated, and I got to the point where I was agreeing with it, but then this series debuted. Being a book about fae, I was immediately interested. However, this book is not for the faint of heart. The author takes all the sexuality of the Anita Blake books and magnifies it by a factor of at least 20. The entire plot is a sexually motivated one, making for an extremely erotic read. Yet, it is through this eroticism and sexuality that the readers learn about the characters and begins to identify with them. Meredith is a very strong willed character, and the men she surrounds herself with run the spectrum from being equally as strong willed as she is, to being very submissive to her. I found it interesting to see how she responded to each of them. This book was one that set up the themes and plots for subsequent books, so while interesting, does not give us much to go on plot-wise. There was a lot of world building done in this book, which was also intriguing to read about. I have a feeling that these books will build on one another heavily and will need to be read in order and not as stand-alones. I think, though, that the series is worth continuing with.

Ladies, yesterday, apparently real life decided that it wanted to go and take a major poopy right on my head. We found out that my son has some fairly serious medical things going on, and unfortunately, my time is going to need to be devoted to him and not my reading. That means that I don't think I'll be able to continue with the challenge. I've contacted Jenne and asked for an alternate to replace me, so she should be getting her in sometime soon. Danielle, would you please be kind enough to take over as captain of the group? I am so sorry to leave you all in the lurch like this, for if I had any inkling that this was going to happen, I wouldn't have signed up in the first place. I do hope that you have a wonderful round and I hope to have everything sorted in time for the next round.

Review:
I can't say I was happy with Tate and Miles relationship and HEA. They had issues and then suddenly their all fine and in love. I needed more Tate/Miles page time and not all the amount of time spend on Miles' past with Rachel. It was a hard past to read and I understand him in the beginning now wanting to fall in love again. I just didn't like the way T&M played out.

I loved this book i though it was really funny. This book wa well written hot, as well as sexy, steamy scenes,some romance and a rescue. It doesn't matter how many times i read this book there are still parts that make me laugh out loud. Yet again Johanna Lindsey blew me away

Review:

Okay, I admit I'm a sucker for strong-willed, snarky, brilliant tween female protagonists. Flavia de Luce is an exceptional 11 year old sleuth with a (sometimes alarming) fascination with poison. Alan Bradley gets props for making her consistently equal parts intelligent sleuth, smarty-pants pest and vulnerable kid. The 1950s Britain setting comes off as authentic and throws Flavia's abilities into even stronger relief. The plot revolves around a murder that disrupts a puppet show at the Bishop Lacey town hall. Somehow or another, it appears to be linked to the hanging death of a young boy a few years prior. As usual, Flavia manages to plant herself squarely in the middle of it all, while flaying her sisters for their foibles and delivering hilarious asides about the adults who are scrambling around (blindly, as usual) to solve the crimes. This series won't necessarily impress some readers looking for innovation or shocking twists. Fortunately, I don't require that for my mysteries. Flavia herself is enough to keep me reading.

This is an amazing seriez.City Of Bones is not what i expectrd it would be it was better. I was captived from the beginning and i was instantly enchanted with this book. Damn, Hunter and Dillon were so sweet I had to give it four stars. Their story was emotional and tender at the same time. I found this book so real, I could feel and see everything; it's written very well, I was fascinated by the way the author tell us how Hunter, a blind man, can see the world.
Really beautiful! I can't wait to read the second book cause the end was really intriguing.

Review

This was a funny and charming story with a bright but,quirky herione. I find pleasure inregency romances. I love to curl up on my bed or sofa and induldge in them on raing or stormy days. I has a hard time believing her name was really Iphginia. This book was such an entertating read and this is one of my favorite books by this author.

Review:

I can't say that I loved or hated this book, hence the three stars. Professor von Igelfeld, the ego-inflated yet sorta lovable protagonist and author of the great linguistic tome, Portuguese Irregular Verbs, is a master at getting himself into absurd situations. He does manage to get himself out of them - barely - in equally absurd fashion. There were a number of hilarious moments, particularly in the chapter dealing with the schismatically challenged priest who begs von Ingelfeld to hide holy relic from his enemies (the bones are later eaten by the same dachshund that suffered from the professor's disastrous attempt to impersonate a veterinarian).

This book is more like a series of short stories than a novel. While the plots of each can be original and funny, many were a bit overdone and overlong. I don't know if I'll continue with this series, or not.
