I am really enjoying this series. This is the third book of five and the story is progressing. Loving the world and characters. Ellie and Rain's relationship is developing too. Can't wait for the next book.

Nerilka's Story by Anne McCaffrey (Pern (Publication Order) #8)Date Finished: 1/27-15
Rating: ★★★★★
Review:
This is a re-read and I was surprised how much I actually remembered from this book as I started reading. Nerilka is a very caring young woman who decides to help out when the plaque hits, opposing her father and leaving her home in secrecy to do this. She is a very strong woman who longs to be useful but also to be appreciated for her work. There is a lot of loss in this book but it has a happy ending.
Roll 20I rolled a 4, so now on space 87

(Firsts and Forever #7) by Alexa LandYou know when you start a book and you're just positive it'll give you some laughs and sweetness? Yeah, that's what I thought too. And yes, we do get those things because Nana's in this story and how could she NOT be freaking hilarious and this author writes sweetness like no other but this one was soooo much more. I can honestly say I think I read through tears for about the last 50% of the book. For realz! It was so damned sweet and poignant and heartbreaking and wonderful. I just can't gush enough about Christian and Shea. I mean we've been waiting for Christian's story but who knew it would be this? I didn't have a clue!! And we meet Chance in this one and I so hope his is the next story. I loved him!!
Roll 20: rolled a 4 now on spot 87I will read alternate (published 2010)

Review: A wonderful ending to a great series! I really liked these books a lot and was happy with the conclusion. Reminds me of Neverending Story which was also a book published in Germany.
