<closed thread>What are you currently reading?

I finished Between, Georgia, which was really enjoyable except for a slow part in the middle. A good summer book.
I'm now reading The Guernsey Literary and Potato Peel Pie Society, which I'm really enjoying, and continuing with Pride and Prejudice.

Water Bound to finish out the Tarot Challenge
The Mulberry Tree for the learn your numbers author
Awakened by a Kiss for the Fairy Tale Challenge (three short stories based on fairy tales)...
the next ones in the pile include Kitty and the Midnight Hour and Corralled for share the summer love and an alternate history book for Ms Anderson's challenge...
I know I won't finish, but its been fun

hoping to get The Story of Edgar Sawtelle listened to (I started it and then stopped it last month, so want to try to finish it); Chocolate Chip Cookie Murder for the block party and Between Sisters for the July Birthday/Noun challenge...fingers crossed!

I still need to read Book of a Thousand Days, Unwind, Mockingjay, Lone Survivor, & The Pioneer Woman Cooks: Recipes from an Accidental Ranch Wife.

I'm still reading The Prestige, which is lagging a bit for me, and Peppermint Twisted. I'm also about to start PopCo and I'm listening to Stephen Fry read Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone - I love it.

I thought that Mary was a great book. I know what you mean about being angry Kandie. Between son Robert Lincoln and friend and confidant Mrs. Keckly, Mary Lincoln got a pretty raw deal.

I really loved it but I wanted to throw it across the room at times! I couldn't believe it when her friend wrote that book and her son was so horrible :/ But it was a really great book.

Amanda, I think the new Rules state that you can only pre-start 1 book for the next challenge.

Seriously? Oh well I've only read the first short story in that book. I'm leaving Wuthering Heights at work today so I won't be tempted to read it tonight cuz I think the last of the pages I have until the cut off is just enough for tomorrow's lunch time reading.

I'm also listening to audio book The Blue Notebook, which I do not like at all. The writing is well done, just dislike the story. I've got about 2 hours left to listen to, but since my commute is an hour each way, I'll have it done by the time I get to work tomorrow morning.

Wuthering Heights is on my "Shipwrecked" list. I haven't found my second book for that task but have been wanting to read Wuthering Heights for 3 Challenges now and never gotten to that task.....wonder if this will be the lucky time?

One of the things that makes this book interesting for me is that people seem to love it or hate it. It's quite a polarizing book, it seems.
It should be an interesting experience, I think. We'll see, I guess.
