Lightning Crafter
I just finished The Big Sleep, so that should be the Fix the Chimney challenge finished. Do I need to report it anywhere, besides our team reporting page?@ Erin Whoops, I forgot to mark it as read at all, should be fixed now.
@ Hope Welcome!! :)
Also Hope, make sure when you've added all your eligible books to your tower teams shelf that you post them in the lightning crafter read books thread: (https://www.goodreads.com/topic/show/...) so that I can add them to the spreadsheet
You guys are all doing awesome. My laptop has been giving me problems. I hope to be able to participate in some of the BR and/or BOM once I get my new laptop.

I hope you like Time Traveler's Wife! I watched the film before I read the book and then couldn't get into it because it was too similar, but I love the movie :)
Sunshine: on your read books you had Her Master's Courtesan as a BR/BOM so if you could just post a link to the BR or BOM discussion then I can add it to the spreadsheet. Thanks!
Maplecroft is confirmed as a purple cover so that means that we have officially finished the Christmas Quest!
Erin wrote: "Maplecroft is confirmed as a purple cover so that means that we have officially finished the Christmas Quest!"Now we just need to get everything read! lol
Erin wrote: "Sunshine: on your read books you had Her Master's Courtesan as a BR/BOM so if you could just post a link to the BR or BOM discussion then I can add it to the spreadsheet. Thanks!"Hi Erin,
I listed the wrong book and corrected the points on the thread.
Here is a list of the books I am currently reading:I Take You: A Novel
Pretty Little Liars
Starry Night
Center Stage
Always Right
Light Teams! I have challenged Sonia (and her Darkness teams) to a dual! Be sure you get a book in each category of none of your books will count towards the Light total.
Sonia!
I challenge you to a read-a-thon duel!
The powers of Light against the powers of Darkness
Between January 3 and January 18 let's see who can read more books. The Light teams or the Darkness teams.
The only rule is that each team must read at least one book from every page count category:
-between 100 and 160 pages
-between 161 pages and 450 pages
-between 451 and 600 pages
-between 601 and 750 pages
-between 751 and 900 pages
-over 901 pages
Not only will the winning element will have bragging rights, but if Light wins then Sonia will need to change her goodreads picture to an light image; and if Darkness wins then Kelly will need to change her goodreads picture to an darkness image.
So, just snooping around to check if there are any Iron Maiden fans around here. You know, the Fear of the Dark song? You should...just saying.

Sunshine....have you read Her Master's Courtesan? I finally got my hands on it recently after it got pulled from Amazon....
Sonia wrote: "So, just snooping around to check if there are any Iron Maiden fans around here. You know, the Fear of the Dark song? You should...just saying."

Kelly can you clarify....does this just need to be book length? No specific topic/category/etc? Just books in each length category?

It's all good....there's always a need for balance between Light and Dark!!
OKAY TEAM....new mini challenge here....as you finish books between now and January 18, we need to track book length and try get at least one in each category.-between 100 and 160 pages
-between 161 pages and 450 pages
-between 451 and 600 pages
-between 601 and 750 pages
-between 751 and 900 pages
-over 901 pages
Take a look at your TBR pile to see if you have enything...especially the bigger ones. I know I don't have anything I can read in the next 2 weeks for the top 4 categories and I'm not sure about the smallest...anyone else have nothing on the horizon??
I should definitely be finishes A Storm of Swords before the deadline and that one is over 1000 pages so I've got that one covered.
Erin wrote: "I should definitely be finishes A Storm of Swords before the deadline and that one is over 1000 pages so I've got that one covered."Great news Erin! I'll start a post here that I can help keep track if y'all want...I can't access Google docs on my laptop and my tablet has issues with it so I can only track here.

between 100 and 160 pages
-between 161 pages and 450 pages

Tara, how do you want us to mark that we completed a book.

Somehow I got it confused with The Siren, which I am finishing up. I usually read 4 or more books at a time. A bit ADD, that's me. LOL
Although The Siren and Her Master's Courtesan are the same genre, the books are sooooooo different. I got Her Master's Courtesan from Smashwords since Amazon banned it. Nevertheless, Lily White second book in the series Her Master's Teacher, I picked up on Amazon. Strange how Amazon picks and removes, but in this case it may be due to the cover.

Hey everyone....hope your new year has started off great and you've got some great books you've been reading! We're doing pretty good in our Light vs. Dark Challenge where we need to read at least one book of varying lengths in order to help out the LIGHT SIDE! Based on responses here, looks like we may have a struggle with these two categories:
■between 601 and 750 pages
■between 751 and 900 pages
Can everyone look at their upcoming TBR list and see if you have a book you are planning to read AND COMPLETE by January 18 that fit into these two categories? I know I don't at this point...all of my books fit into the "■between 161 pages and 450 pages" category (which is what most of us have been submitting).
I'm currently reading a book between 601 and 750 pages and I will try to finish it by January 18th but if someone else has one too in case I don't that would be good too
Erin wrote: "I'm currently reading a book between 601 and 750 pages and I will try to finish it by January 18th but if someone else has one too in case I don't that would be good too"Awesome....does that still include also Storm of Swords you had mentioned? So both the 601-750 and 901+ books? Or will it be one or the other? Thanks so much!

Storm of Swords is my 901+ class and if I finish The Name of the Wind in time that one is 662 pages
Shilpa wrote: "I have a 126 page book on my immediate TBR! :)"Great, Shilpa! Sunshine also indicated she had a short book, so between the two of you we should be good there.
Hopefully then between Shilpa and Erin, one of you will be able to finish Name of the Wind, and then maybe Erin can also manage Storm of Swords (those are sure some hefty books there, lady!).
Looks like the only missing category will be 751-900...anyone have anything in the works they may finish before January 18?? Anyone? Anyone? Bueller?!!
