What are you currently reading (or just finished)?

Now reading Jonathan Carroll's Outside The Dog Museum.

Now I'm reading The Raven Boys.

Since then, have read the first 2 books in Jasper Fforde's Thursday Next series - The Eyre Affair and Lost in a Good Book and the first one in his Nursery Crimes Division series, The Big Over Easy. Then read a short story collection by Jonathan Carroll, The Panic Hand.
Now reading a Penelope Lively children's novel, The Ghost of Thomas Kempe and A Red Herring Without Mustard, 3rd in the series by Alan Bradley.

Since I do have to wait, however, I read The Boy in the Striped Pajamas, and then started The Martian.

Yes The Raven Boys was a good book!
I'm just starting

Now I'm reading The Adventure of Stan and the Emerald of Foundation.

Now started Jambusters: The Story of the Women's Institute in the Second World War by Julie Summers, the story of the Women's Institute in WWII, and which inspired the Home Fires TV series.

I'm currently reading two books.
The Book Thief by Markus Zusak which is very good.
Dark Justice by Brandilyn Collins which is an ARC from netgalley.com in ebook.

The Book Thief is a great story, but very sad. The movie is really good to! Hope you enjoy it.

* Blood by Douglas Starr
* The science of interstellar by Kip Thorne
*Rubicon by Tom Holland
*Meanwhile back in deadwood by Ann Charles.
* Switching hour by Robyn Peterman
All are good so far :)

Recently, I finished reading Catherine the Great: Portrait of a Woman (non-fiction), The Winter Palace: A Novel of Catherine the Great, Blood & Beauty: The Borgias, and The Vatican Princess: A Novel of Lucrezia Borgia.
They are great historical fiction; the non-fiction one reads like fiction!

At present I am reading
Running With Scissors - Augusten Burroughs
What It Is - Lynda Barry
Wolf Hall - Hilary Mantel
and listening to
Her Bones Are In The Badlands - Roland Yeomans
This is my first experience using Audible and listening to a book rather than reading it. Not sure if I like this. Anyone else have thoughts on audio books?

Love historical fiction, though tough to explain the genre to my literal husband. "Wait, if it's fiction, how is it history?" Sigh.
