Daryn Kagan | 3 comments An oldie but a very enjoyable one, I'm reading James Michener's The Covenant. About history of South Africa. I love his books and we took our kids to South Africa last December. I wanted to learn more. http://amzn.to/1WFrmcv

Love historical fiction, though tough to explain the genre to my literal husband. "Wait, if it's fiction, how is it history?" Sigh.

Lissa Johnston (ljjohnston) | 17 comments Book junkie here. Thumbs up to those who mentioned The Martian and 11/22/63. Very entertaining reads.

At present I am reading
Running With Scissors - Augusten Burroughs
What It Is - Lynda Barry
Wolf Hall - Hilary Mantel

and listening to
Her Bones Are In The Badlands - Roland Yeomans

This is my first experience using Audible and listening to a book rather than reading it. Not sure if I like this. Anyone else have thoughts on audio books?
