Are you going to visit Prague as well? If you have the time, do it, it's absolutely worth it!

Predator's Gold is slow reading - terribly slow reading actually. Not that it isn't interesting as such but I just can't seem to actually want to sit down and read it.
And since I'll be travelling this week and most likely not reading a lot, I'm not going to be able to finish 2 books this week either, sorry. But I'm sure someone will be able to cover for that :-)

Are you guys watching our overall books claimed/week or should we be watching our own claims? If I read a book for another challenge do I have to claim it?

And since I'..."
E., I can easily do that.
I will start on my Georgette Heyer Gluttony-read :)
Will read

Jenny, we'll be checking that we stay within the 30-45 range in general for the Team.
Also, I think you could go over your 4.5 books as for example, Gemma alerted us that she wouldn't be able to post books for this week b/c of her vacation. So some balancing would be nice. :)

Love this song! :)

Alternately, the spreadsheet is visible for everyone. On the member's tab, you'll see how many books you've signed up with and how many books you've already read.
For each week, books are calculated so we know where we're at. It'll show up in the total, which is under each weekly column.

@Jenny: no, you don't have to claim every book you read.
If you end up reading way more than what you've signed up with, then preferably claim the ones that work best for Tower Teams and read the other ones for other challenges or for pleasure etc etc.

I'll try to focus my claims here for Big Books, SIN BINGOs, and Slothful reads."
Perfect :-)
And as Melinda already pointed out - if we do need more books for balancing out team numbers, you can always claim one or two more, depending on where we're at.

I've never been able to pin that cover colour down and I have a paperback copy of it...
I'd suggest not using it for a cover colour.

(view spoiler)

Green or no? If so, and if we can find someone on another team that read it this year, it's a SIN BINGO.
There's too much other stuff on that Ghost cover to be considered over 50% blue, and I'm not entirely convinced on the blue.

Never struck me as enough green to count for a >50% cover colour.

See, I see Oppostion as more blue than green hahah. Either way, it's turquoise/aqua/whatever you want to call it, so not really one or the other..

Yes, you are right. This is truly one of those green or blue cases that's just too frustrating.

Jenny, I have posted both to the Captains' Group for a final decision. Will let you know.

I will say NO to both Oppostion and The Ghost books.
Sorry.
I'm off and will be back on Sunday evening.
Please do not burn the thread down while I'm gone.
And please keep the cover questions to a minimum. If it isn't clear, chances are it quite simply will not work. Easy as that! ;-)
Happy reading everyone!!
