Okayy I'll join!! I'm already on page 283 and it is amazing! I think i prefer this book to some of TMI books as the plot is very different and also as there are fresh characters. I think my favorite character is Will because he is so sarcastic ^-^

Everyone speaks of Will as if he's this huge problem child, but I haven't really gotten that impression of him. Have either of you? He just seems quick witted and honest. It surprises me that everyone has a problem with him lol

yeah He's quite the witty one out of them .But I guess because all the shadow-hunters and other people are so stiff and appropriate that they consider his wittiness is quite rude :/

I also came back to rant a bit... (view spoiler)[ When Nate is in the process of being rescued, Will has an opportunity to shoot De Quincy. And instead of just shooting him, he says this long winded speech and loses the moment because his speech gave De Quincy the opportunity to tackle him. That drove me completely mad! The entire time I was shouting (in my mind) 'Just shoot him!!' Did that also bother you? (hide spoiler)]

Actually I didn't read any book of TMI series . I started but then left it but I have heard people say that about both characters

I'm not entirely sure yet. How did you like TMI series? Is it better than this so far?

It's about the same as Clockwork Angel so far and I like this book so far. The one thing I don't like is how similar Will and Jace are, I feel like she didn't write a new charter (so far, that might change. Still only about 40% in, I'm going to start reading again now) I have mixed feeling on the TMI series, I feel like that it didn't have to be six books, I have was happy with the first three, but other people liked it though so if you like this series I would suggest at least reading the first book to see if you like the characters.

Do you feel like you understand TMI series more after starting this series? Since a lot of TMI characters are ancestors to characters in this series, do you think there may be a possibility that Jace and Will are related?

I do feel like I understand some thing better,mostly the relationship between the shadowhunters and the downworlder. There are lot of people's ancestors in this series. And they could be related.
