Please see the first post in this thread.
Blank profiles (no books, fans, quotes, etc.) will not be merged. They will be left for the cleanup script.

Actually, it does not appear that all the books on the unclaimed profile are by the Goodreads Author.

I've now put Ben^^Myers as author for The Day That Everything Changed and Superscripts: Walking With Shadows.
All the remaining works for Ben^Myers are listed for him on Wikipedia and/or his own website as displayed on the claimed profile.
They should now be ready for merging, so here are the profiles again:

Authors are allowed to have multiple pen-names. No reason to merge dissimilar ones.

Her "about this author" refers to "Movies on Paper", a book that is listed on the other profile.
Attorney Rain Fields is on both profiles.
Most of the books are Createspace (the GR author uses this publisher.)
The use of the character "Rain" (Astronaut, super model, attorney, race car driver, G.I.)
The descriptions of the books all have the style of the GR writer.

Well OK. Looks like a mistake to me. - the website to the GR author is dead. - So could the blurb be deleted? When you try to follow the link it takes you to a page that my anti virus software blocks.

If you mean the author's blog, I see no reason to delete it, even if the site that used to host it is now dead.
You can not read the whole sentence. When you click continue reading you are taken to a dead, and if my virus software is to be believe, a malicious site. I think that is reason to delete it.

This thread is for merging duplicate author pages when one has been claimed. You want to merge two user accounts; for that you need to use the Contact Us link on the Help page.
