oshizu | 5762 comments I've started a new thing of a "2019-favorites" GR bookshelf where I've added, more or less, one book each month.

Jan: The Sense of an Ending (Julian Barnes)
Feb: Black Leopard, Red Wolf (Marlon James)
Mar: A Fine Balance (Rohinton Mistry)
Apr: The Briefcase (Hiromi Kawakami)
May: none
Jun: LaRose (Louise Erdrich)
Jul: A Brief History of Seven Killings (Marlon James)

My favorite book this month so far:
Red Sister (Mark Lawrence)

How interesting that none of our picks overlap! 😊
