Say 10 hours from now I'll advertise, so Chafic has until then to show up, or if you guys have someone in mind speak up.

Anyway, I know have us looking for both "N" and "S". Maritza, you came up with "U" and "Y" -- you are doing great!
I left "A" up there because it seems like so many books have an "A" lying around in characters or something. So if anyone wants to fill that in for another accidental read go for it.
If we trip across an "I" I think we can move WAS to WITH. One of our As is also an H.

Quiet Country by Colbie Kay read 09/21/19
Characters - Bear, Jacey, Ever, Hangar, Snake, Ripper

I have a call out on the team thread but it's not looking good -- two other teams ahead of us called for a replacement this week. If we have any friends who read we can pull them in; I think the next two weeks is the last, right? Anyone know someone up for a two week challenge?

I was whining about my team being short at family dinner this weekend and my brother said he could probably read 2-3 books in the next few weeks. I'll show him the spreadsheet to see what he thinks. He doesn't use goodreads much but since he's my brother he can't escape me!

Beth, I love that GR challenges are so much part of your life that you raise it at family dinners!!!

I have like 10 pages left. Do you want me to hold off until the next challenge?

Am reading for another challenge before I pick book for team.

And Maritza is right -- this challenge is very strict and can't use books from one week to the other. Anything started last week is no good to us in Round 4 -- Echidna season!

If just clicking on that link didn't get you access you can send one of us your email and we can add you directly. I think I had to do that for some of us. I don't know why -- it says anyone with the link can access but I guess some people are more equal than others...

The boy thing was mostly because I had just strong-armed my brother into maybe joining the team, but I'm not sure he even has a goodreads account and he hates following rules, so he was sorta a last ditch option. We'd much rather have you!
I made another attempt at sharing the spreadsheet.

I've grabbed my spot for my next book.
My audio this week is the last Aurora Teagarden book, so it works for Task 7. But it's CD only and I can only listen in the car at regular speed so it probably won't be done until Friday or even later. I'm going to go ahead and grab that spot but if anyone else is reading something that fits you can steal it from me since it will take me ages.

Thank you. I'll look what I can read for.
Goodnight from me :)

I have started both of my books and will probably finish one tomorrow, but the audio is going slow (for #7, 7 of higher in the series). So if someone else finishes something that fits please just grab that from me off the spreadsheet.
I know it's early, but do we want to look at the Safe Zones? Zone 2 still looks beyond me but do we want to try Zone 1? Remember we can't start these books until we finish the countdown.
We need one of the five to be a book from the BOM lists or from another's teams spreadsheet. Do we want to fill out possibilities that we have (but won't start yet) and see if we can do it?

I have found something published on the 4th of the month, so when I'm finally done I'll start The Cobbler's Boy.
Also, the mystery I'm reading for task 10 is the 16th in a series, so it can be swapped in for task Task 7. If anyone else wants to read something with something spiky on the cover, we can swap around.

8. Author from Mediterranean
7. 7 or higher in series (I have an audio, but only half done)
6. Adventure (I think Wolf is almost done with this one)
4. Published on 4th of month (I just started one here)
My book for
10. Spikey thing on cover also works for #7, so if anyone has a book with something spiky on it we can switch out for that.
Also, I read Bound by Ice: A True North Pole Survival Story which I just noticed is tagged "Adventure" so if Wolf is hating Treasure Island she can bail. Or if the cover has any pirates waving spiky things like daggers we can move things around.

If so, I've started The Shape of Water by Italian author Andrea Camilleri

I already asked. Waiting for answer.
