This week I'm reading Out In The Field by Lane Hayes.

Irisheyes | 896 comments My life has been a little crazy lately and I haven't had a chance to read the latest releases from Sarina Bowen and Mary Balogh. This is perhaps the first time since I've discovered these authors that I haven't devoured their new books within a day or two. So, I am looking forward to Someone to Honor and Superfan this week.

Stacey (staceyissassy) I've had a cold so managed to get some good reading in lately. I read and enjoyed Kissing Galileo by Penny Reid. I listened to Just My Type by Tara Sivec and enjoyed that one too.

I'm currently reading War by Laura Thalassa, and while I'm really enjoying it, it's very different to Pestilence. It has a real The Golden Dynasty by Kristen Ashley feel to it.

I'm about to start listening to Jewel E Ann's, Undeniably You.

Chocolatesoup | 398 comments I've had a crazy, busy couple of weeks (hello family reunion) but I too am reading War by Laura Thalassa and I'm finding it brutal as well Stacey. I'm almost finished though. I've also begun Top Secret by Sarina Bowen and Elle Kennedy and now have a copy of Superfan checked out from the library.

Come back and let me know what you think of Top Secret, please. I can't decide whether I want to read it or not.

Leigh-Ayn | 1214 comments I am not really reading anything but I am thinking of actually reading all the Kate Clayborn books I own and haven't read yet :P

Do it, Leigh-Ayn!!! Kate Clayborn is soooo goooood!

I finished the third of Rachel Grant's Flashpoint series last night and they were so good! Exhausting though since they were kidnapped by warlords, attacked by mercenaries and set upon by a wannabe dictator and his minions. I need the book equivalent of a trip to the spa now lol

Chocolatesoup | 398 comments I liked Top Secret but did not love it. Sure it was sexy and sometimes funny but the character growth and relationship building was slow , which is OK but I just am not sure that it "got there". Although, there is a bonus epilogue available on one of author's websites and that may help me believe in a HEA for these guys rather than the HFN which always leaves me a little unsatisfied LOL.

Kate Clayborn books? I agree with Manda! Soooo gooood! I'm a little jealous that you get to read them all for the first time Leigh-Ayn. If you do read them, let us know what you think.

Rachel Grant is awesome, this series is on my TBR too.

I vote "Yes" on the Kate Clayborn books, too, Leigh-Ayn. Hahaha
They were all solid, easy reads.

Thank you so much. I feel like a lot of MM books give the HFN vibe instead of HEA. Not sure anyone else would agree with that?

Bowen was writing about college students in Top secret which is probably why it’s a HFN. Her books Him and Us have HEA

It's funny you should say that because I was going to say that Him and Us were the only ones that gave me the HEA feel. :-)

I agree with everyone about Top Secret. Since they're still in college it does feel very HFN. I still enjoyed it but prefer Him and Us.

@chocolatesoup Rachel is a friend and I'm more than a little jealous of how good she is. OTOH I get to enjoy her books so I get over it ;)

Good point Dls, a HFN is quite appropriate for college students.

Manda-awesome!
