The Turn of the Screw by Henry James. That's the one I finished and hated. Normal People by Sally Rooney is one that I couldn't finish and hated.

I average 100 books a year. Right now I am at 97 books. Last year, I read 102. In 2017, I read 175. But that was because I was doing a short story challenge.
95. Have your reading habits changed over the past year? Over the past 5 years?I would say they have changed more in the past 5 years than they have in the last year.
96. How many books do you usually read in a year? (Also, have you hit your yearly goal?)
I can usually get in at least 60-65. I've managed to read 14 books over my goal! I'm hoping to at least get one more finished before the end of the year.
The only bookish goals that I set for this year are some challenges. Most of my challenges do not have a time limit. But the Popsugar Challenge does, so I will have that done in a year. Here is a link to my challenges if anyone wants to look.

My main goal is to read 80 books. I am also participating in the POPSUGAR Reading Challenge.
That's about it unless I find other challenges to participate in.
My GR goal is 52 books. I want to slow down a bit this year and read longer more involved books. I have a challenge called my Kryptonite challenge which involves reading those books which have been on my TBR for way too long.

That's a good goal to have. I definitely want to be more intentional with my reading this year.

I'm going to share some of my bookish goals for myself this year. My GR goal for this year is 50 books. I also want to try to review all the books I read, even if it's just a little snippet of my thoughts on GR. I did pretty well with this in 2019, with the exception of a few graphic novels. I just find those kind of hard to review. I'm always going to have stuff checked out from the library, but I want to read primarily from my personal bookshelves this year. It's a goal that I set for myself literally every year and I always fail. But, I'm really striving for it this year. I'd love to hit 100 books in a year. Realistically for me, that probably won't happen this year. But, if it does, I'd be ecstatic. Mostly, I want to have an enjoyable year of reading.
98. Are you participating in the 2020 POPSUGAR Reading Challenge? If so, do you pre-plan your books for it or do you just read what you want and see what fits?
Yes, I am doing the Popsugar Challenge this year. I do a mix. Most of my books are read and see what fits. But for some of the prompts, I have books specifically in mind. None of it is etched in stone. Meaning, I move books around to different prompts throughout the year. I constantly change my and just go with it.
Yes, I do participate. I make myself a list of possible books to read for each prompt. They ALWAYS change, so I don't worry about it too much.

I enjoy pretty much every genre, but I guess that I would have to choose Western as my least favorite.
