the Outer Banks in NC, I think we were on Corolla Beach, for a week, the town is Kitty Hawk and its just beautiful, I don't even really like going to the beach but it was such a calm, low-key spot. Perfect.

This is an easy one. Absolutely nothing. I am the pickiest eater in the world.

I have no idea. I wouldn't say I'm super picky, but I don't often branch out.

Run a marathon. I've always wanted to, and I hope that one day I'll work up to it. I love running, but I'm awful at it lol.

I was able to get all the parts for a gaming PC, and with the help of friends, we were able to get it up and running. I've been wanting a gaming PC for a bit, and it's a great escape to have when I don't feel like reading.

My last tattoo. Mickey Mouse done as a patch. I have wanted Mickey Mouse forever and the artist had the patch idea. It turned great! Can't wait for the next one.

QOTD: If you could instantly learn any language fluently, which one would you choose and why?

message 3012: by Vivian (new)

Vivian Stevenson (passionatelyperusing) | 2032 comments LCPL wrote: "QOTD: If you could instantly learn any language fluently, which one would you choose and why?"

French. I've wanted to learn French since early high school. I was going to take a French language class, but they took it away and only offered Spanish.
I was trying to learn it on Duolingo recently, but I burnt myself out on it lol. I'll eventually get back to it.

message 3013: by Dawn (new)

Dawn | 372 comments For practicality, Spanish, as it’s the second most spoken language in the world. For fun, either Gaelic or Italian.

Spanish, just because it would be so useful, for fun, i'd like to know Quechuan, which is a dialect spoken in Peru, or Yucatec Mayan, because I'd love to travel to both those places and speak like a local.

Two books tied for favorite:
- My Dear Henry: A Jekyll & Hyde Remix by Kalynn Bayron
- The Invited by Jennifer McMahon

Least favorite:
When the Light Goes by Larry McMurtry (This came a big surprise. I loved the Lonesome Dove series.)
