Question of the Day

going for walks and hiking.
QOTD: #ThrowbackThursday What book do you wish you could go back and experience for the first time again? Why?

Probably Anne of Green Gables, for the book itself but also for that age I was when I first read it.

There's quite a few. I'm going to say The Weight of Ink by Rachel Kadish. I think I'd go back and appreciate it more. I plan to reread it soon though.

an unkindness of ghosts by rivers solomon. few, if any, books left me with the feeling that one did. re-reading it is always great, but nothing beats the first time.

the weight of blood by tiffany d. jackson just came out, and i'm really excited to pick that up soon. & i can't wait for leech by hiron ennes

None that I'm aware of.
QOTD: In honor of National Encouragement Day, we are doing #MotivationalMonday
Mondays can be tough, so share a motivational quote with everyone.

I'm excited for both of those. I need to read the ARC for Leech before it releases (whether I actually do or not is a different story)

The Notorious Sorcerer

I bought a copy of Fairy Tale. I've heard great things about it and I can't wait to read it!

Some of the ones that I'm looking forward to are:
Fairy Tale by Stephen King
Leech by Hiron Ennes
House of Hunger by Alexis Henderson
Babel by R.F. Kuang
Other Birds by Sarah Addison Allen

"As long as there is life, there is happiness. There is a great deal, a great deal before us.”

1. Cooler weather
2. The leaves change colors
3. Fall baked goods
4. Sweaters
5. I can finally wear clothes I'm comfortable in lol.

The Colors, the weather, the pumpkin spiced lattes, apple cider and caramel apples, hayrides, fall hikes and scenic drives, big sweaters and boots, all of it!

the weather, i can wear clothes i actually enjoy wearing, and halloween season!
QOTD: Do you have anything on your Fall Bucket List that you'd like to do, to fully embrace this season?

What's not to love about Fall? Is there anything bad, I mean honestly? The crunchy, colored leaves, the coziness with the chill in the air, spooky season, October, decor, cozy clothes, warm blankets, fuzzy socks, cardigans and sweaters, flannel, beanies, hot cups of tea/cider, pumpkin everything...the list just goes on. (Fall is my favorite if you can't tell.)

Top of my list (which won't be this year), is to visit Salem in October. But for this year, I'd like to go to an apple orchard, a pumpkin patch, maybe go for a fall hike, read a lot of spooky season books and fantasy books, watch some classic Halloween movies, bake some pumpkin cream cheese muffins, visit a local farmer's market, have a bonfire & make s'mores, maybe go camping, take a trip to the mountains, etc. There are so many things I love to do in the Fall. I always feel like the Fall season goes by way too quickly. I wish it stuck around a bit longer.

for my long term fall bucket list i really wanna go to halloween horror nights at universal studios one day. but for this year i just wanna go to pumpkin patches and find an excuse to dress up for halloween, because i havent done that in years.

Not this year, but outstanding is I want to visit New England during the fall, and Prince Edward Island.

No, I don't have anything on my fall bucket list.

both, but as far as i'm concerned all of the fall season is halloween season lol

If I were to stay inside all day, the weather would be gloomy and rainy. I'd have a candle lit and I would read a book.
If I'm outside, maybe a nice, cool day at the park. I could either read a book or take a walk.

i'm always watching horror, so more of that lol. but i do enjoy taking the month of october to watch halloween movies i loved as a kid!

There are so many that I could name off. Some of my favorites for the fall are:
• Hocus Pocus
• Halloweentown
• The Nightmare Before Christmas
• The Legend of Sleepy Hollow
• The Hobbit
• Lord of the Rings
• Kiki's Delivery Service
• Over the Garden Wall
• You've Got Mail
• The Addams Family
• Casper
• Scream
• When Harry Met Sally
• Little Women
• Practical Magic
• Coraline
