For editions to be merged with something other than the work default, please remember to separate out the two editions for merging before posting in this thread.

NOTE: This thread is for requesting the deletion of true duplicates -- two entries for the same edition of a book. If you need help with anything else (e.g.: moving books off an author's page where they have appeared in error, author disambiguation, combining editions, etc.) please start a NEW THREAD in this folder.

10 digit isbn in the 13 isbn field. I combined with matching version. Please merge and recombine.

Re #12, publishers frequently use more than one ISBN when publishing a specific format of a book. Those look perfectly valid.

Renske | 12350 comments 2-10 Could you please combine the editions, as the first message of this thread asks? As those books are in Arabic and most super-librarians are not familiar with that language, it is even more important if you could combine them.

17 According to Amazon the ISBN is for a hardcover and the other edition is a paperback, so I didn't merge them.

you want me to combine it again after i separate it?
or what?... My English is not perfect. but this books are Duplicates, so i combine the same duplicates books together to merge it into the original one.

28 Yes, the editions that need deleting must be combined with the edition that stays. Then the reviews / people who have added the book are moved to the edition that stays.

Deleting published books from our system is against policy. Goodreads is striving to be a complete database of all published works, including works that are out-of-print. We like our members to be able to add their exact edition to their virtual shelves. Just as a library would not remove a record from its catalog, so do we not remove books from our database.

Please note: Authors who attempt to delete, edit to blank, or otherwise vandalize older editions of books may have their author and /or librarian privileges revoked.

Hi,

The books have all been merged into one book on Kindle and thus is no longer available individually. However, if you prefer to have them all on Goodreads even though they are unavailable that's perfectly fine with me.
