Would one of the two work for this week's shelf:

Option 1: Command Indecision (part of the Lexi Graves Mysteries Omnibus Volume One) In previous books in series there were always family scenes with MC's nieces and nephews. So I used the search in book option on Amazon and found some in this book as well. Would it work or does the book has to have an explicit children tag or reference in the blurb.

Option 2: Fixing Perfect. According to blurb children are vital to the plot.
In the community of Avalon on Catalina Island, a psychopath is kidnapping children and perfectly posing and painting the bodies of adult victims to resemble disabled artist, Robin Ingram.

Can I read Night's Child for pregnancy/child? The whole series of 13 books is about Morgan and in sweep she has a baby and then the baby grows to a teenager and becomes the main character of this last book

Your book is good! If there is a kid, pregnancy or children mentioned in the book, blurb, title or anything you can show. I’m good with that.

You can even just say on page 31: children laughed. I’ll accept that

I am meeting all kinds of authors. Kandi Steiner has two different brands of whiskey and everyone that comes up to her had to toast with her. After a couple of hours, she was doing cartwheels in the lobby in the hotel.
Then when we were at the bar, she was trying to do the cartwheel against the wall. It was hilarious.

I will caution everyone against chugging whiskey. I burned my throat bad. Then she says “girl, you are supposed to sip whiskey NOT chug it like shot”
I’m not a drinker so I didn’t know that. It felt like smoke was coming outback of my nostrils like i was breathing fire. That whiskey was rough

Anna Todd said you can take a picture of her signing But NOT hugging and she won’t get out of her chair. She won’t take a picture with you but you can take a picture of her singing your book.
I decided she wasn’t worth it even though I had won her books at the library and brought them for her to sign

So unfriendly author 🥇 awards goes to: Anna Todd and E.L. James
I was completely unimpressed with the whole entourage and bodyguard set up. El James, I can see why but Anna Todd’s After movie wasn’t even that good. WTF!
