I'm so excited that I see some familiar faces here! Even though a very few people will recognize me because I change my photo and nickname.
Great to see everyone so far! We have over 120 sign ups already. Please note that if you donโt give us your goodreads ID on your sign up form we wonโt find you that means a number followed by a hyphen followed by a name. It is in the URL of your profile page.
Where we have just been given a name these are highlighted in red on the sign up spreadsheet. This means you wonโt be allocated to a team.

I'm sooo excited! I vowed I wouldn't join excessive challenges this year... HA!Anyway... I'm Lauri from Hawaii & I've played UNO for the last 3 years. I love it!! Some of my favorite genres are historical fiction, mystery, humor/chick lit& paranormal adventure... I love chatty groups & making friends. I think it's wonderful to have a group of readers to be able to discuss books (and life!) with. Looking forward to fun times!

Great, do you know spanish? Have you ever been to Chile?
I've been to Brazil before for a vacation trip, I went to Maceiรณ in 2016, I really struggled with the language at times, but it was so beautiful, also that the ocean wasn't as cold as in Chile was really comfortable haha.
I'm going to Florianopolis next month.

I do know a bit of Spanish, but it's very rusty. I've been to Chile, but I was a baby then, so I don't really count it as having been to Chile.
And yes, the ocean in the Northeast is pretty warm. Florianรณpolis should be colder than Maceiรณ. I hope you enjoy your trip :)

Is it even possible to finish Anita Blake series? I think I read 8 books and there's I think 26 of them now? How many have you read?

๐ Favourite genres: Historical fiction (I love learning while reading). I don't care for horror or romance, but as long as the writing is solid, I'll read most anything else. I also like non-fiction, which doesn't usually fit challenges very well.

I think I joined last time and I didn't do very well. I love the concept of this challenge and I have a 2019 reading goal of 52 books; roughly 1 book a week. God knows I have enough to read :) I'd like to do this again!

๐ Favourite genres: Hard to say, actually, because I judge more on specific plots rather than genres. Basically, if it's interesting and original, I'll read it, and even then, it depends on my appreciation of it. All opinions are extremely subjective, so I can't really generalize mine.
