Karen โŠฐโœฟ | 3767 comments Great to see everyone so far! We have over 120 sign ups already.
Please note that if you donโ€™t give us your goodreads ID on your sign up form we wonโ€™t find you that means a number followed by a hyphen followed by a name. It is in the URL of your profile page.

Where we have just been given a name these are highlighted in red on the sign up spreadsheet. This means you wonโ€™t be allocated to a team.
(Spreadsheet is here https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/...)

If you are one of those, please let us know who you are before Jan 10

Great, do you know spanish? Have you ever been to Chile?

I've been to Brazil before for a vacation trip, I went to Maceiรณ in 2016, I really struggled with the language at times, but it was so beautiful, also that the ocean wasn't as cold as in Chile was really comfortable haha.
I'm going to Florianopolis next month.

I hope you enjoy UNO, is really fun!

I do know a bit of Spanish, but it's very rusty. I've been to Chile, but I was a baby then, so I don't really count it as having been to Chile.

And yes, the ocean in the Northeast is pretty warm. Florianรณpolis should be colder than Maceiรณ. I hope you enjoy your trip :)

๐Ÿ“• Favourite genres: Historical fiction (I love learning while reading). I don't care for horror or romance, but as long as the writing is solid, I'll read most anything else. I also like non-fiction, which doesn't usually fit challenges very well.
๐Ÿ“• Book you can't wait to read in 2019: I have so many on my TBR list and now I have a few more reading through all of your suggestions! Ha! One of my top picks is Prodigal Summer. I've read most of Barbara Kingsolver's books, but not this one yet.

๐Ÿ“• Have you joined UNO before?: Nope, this is a first for me.
๐Ÿ“• Favourite genres: Hard to say, actually, because I judge more on specific plots rather than genres. Basically, if it's interesting and original, I'll read it, and even then, it depends on my appreciation of it. All opinions are extremely subjective, so I can't really generalize mine.
๐Ÿ“• Book you can't wait to read in 2019: Storm Cursed (Mercy Thompson, #11) by Patricia Briggs Wild Country (The world of the Others #2; The Others #7) by Anne Bishop

Those are the only two books I can think of that have a 2019 release date, but there are other books that I will for sure be reading:

The remaining Austen novels I have yet to read: Emma by Jane Austen Persuasion by Jane Austen Mansfield Park by Jane Austen
The only Charlotte Brontรซ novel I haven't read yet: Shirley by Charlotte Brontรซ
John Scalzi's "The Collpasing Empire": The Collapsing Empire (The Interdependency #1) by John Scalzi The Consuming Fire (The Interdependency, #2) by John Scalzi

Hoping to get into some Ilona Andrews books FINALLY, to see what all the hype is about: Clean Sweep (Innkeeper Chronicles, #1) by Ilona Andrews Burn for Me (Hidden Legacy, #1) by Ilona Andrews On the Edge (The Edge, #1) by Ilona Andrews Magic Bites (Kate Daniels, #1) by Ilona Andrews
Probably some moral-questioning books: Zofloya by Charlotte Dacre Faust by Johann Wolfgang von Goethe The Countess by Rebecca Johns

And many other things, depending on what tickles my fancy. Re-reads are a definite possibility, and besides that, I'm really note sure. Let's see where the year takes us, with this UNO challenge as a good chunk to enjoy for the first quarter.
