Marianne (cloggiedownunder) | 9973 comments Time travel and Jane Austen: not for Austen purists, I reckon, but I really enjoyed Aussie author Rachel Givney's debut novel, Jane In Love. Out early Feb 20. Thanks to Michael Joseph Penguin Australia

Marianne (cloggiedownunder) | 9973 comments When I started this scifi/speculative fiction Half Way Home by Hugh Howey, I didn't think it was going to rate quite so high, but the clever plot and the nicely resolved ending won me over.
Thanks to NetGalley.

Did you search using the ISBN Dale? Or title plus author? ISBN will always find it; title plus author mostly :)

This book is never going to meet the requirements for our challenges, but it is a lovely piece of whimsy, and I recommend to anyone who has found 2019 to be a less than stellar year!

Winter Sleep: A Hibernation Story by Sean Taylor and Alex Morss is a delightful and informative kids' picture book. The illustrations by Cinyee Chiu make it special. Good gift book for grandparents!
