I'll be starting with Citizen: An American Lyric, which I have about 100 pages to go of - but only in about 30 minutes, because first I'm going for a walk!
It's already 2pm where I'm based and I need to head into town to run some errands. I've considered an audiobook but I've already done PhD work for over two hours today and my brain is a tad frazzled so I think I'll skip that one. The break will do me good, and afterwards I'll get a coffee and READ!

I'm starting the readathon by finishing the book I'm currently- The Eyes in the Dark by Chris Ward. It's a horror book, and I'm just over halfway through so I'm hoping to finish soon so I can start a few mysteries I have on my TBR just for the readathon

Currently I'm reading a norwegian book, "ung jente, voksen man" by Eline Lund Fjæren, it caught my eye in a bookstore quite a while ago, and when I looked through my kindle ahead of today I discovered to my surprise I bought it as an e-book. This will give me a bingo for the read a book with a person on the cover ✨ it's also shortish, so that's nice.

I would recommend it if you want a spooky, fast-paced read! My copy has such a stunning cover too. :)
