Currently reading
on my Kobo. I have pick up three books waiting for me at the library to pick up tomorrow but am going to put two of them back since I no longer really want to read them. So I will just get
unless
is there as well, as I see it is now in transit. Still waiting for the library to get ]
and
and
are out this coming week and the library has them on order, but given how slow they are to get these books, I do not expect to see them this year. Beth - ;)

I will be reading these four review books:
Beyond that I definitely plan to read more books but I'm not sure which ones yet.
Holding loosely to my plans again, but we'll see...Currently reading:
Plan on reading:
Other than that, not sure what I'll have time to get to. :)
I’m currently working on:
and
I’ll be reading
for review and other than that a few I’d like to get to are
Frostbite and A Dance With Dragons
Caitlyn - is Stratagem part of the Darkwater series or a standalone? I had Darkwater Inn on my list of books to request but changed my mind and will not be requesting any more series books until they are all published. Waiting a year or more between them has me forgetting the plot and the characters. Same with the Lavender Tides series. I read book 1 but book 3 is not out until January, and who knows how long after that the library will get it? So I will wait to even request book 2. Because of that, I may not even read two of the books I am picking up tomorrow because it is 17 months since I read the first one. Also, Only by Death and A Treacherous Mix, which are *still* just on order are books 2 and 3 in a series that had book 1 published (and read) five years ago. I have long since forgotten anything about it and may just cancel the request, or take book 1 from the library again to refresh my memory.

Hi, Beth! As far as I can tell Stratagem is a standalone. It doesn't look to me like it is listed either on Goodreads or Amazon as being part of a series, nor does it mention that it's part of a series in the Netgalley copy that I have, so I'm assuming it's a standalone! I have not read Darkwater Secrets, either, but I completely understand what you mean! Stratagem releases November 1st and I think Darkwater Secrets just released in the last few months so I would assume they wouldn't be releasing a second book in the series this soon, but I can't say for certain either way. I don't really follow this author's books that closely and I'm sorry I can't give a definitive answer, but I hope this helps at least a little! I look forward to reading Stratagem as it sounds like a really interesting and unique storyline! 🙂

October, so far:Well, I finished
less than a full hour into October. I didn't know whether to be annoyed or amused by that. Then, I completely read

I read The Heart Between Us: Two Sisters, One Heart Transplant, and a Bucket List even though I don't read much romance, so am looking forward to the discussion next month. I do wish we had more variety and perhaps not two romance novels per month here, though, but evidently I am in the minority :) !!!
I was recommended a new author by our local librarian, Ann Gabhart novel, The Innocent, and I enjoyed it, because it was about the Shaker Society in Kentucky, which is very different from the Amish communities of Pennsylvania that I also enjoy reading. This book piqued my interest so I am now reading another book by Ann Gabhart called, The Outsider, which is also proving to be an interesting read.
October was pretty productive, despite all the "projects" on the home front on the weekends. And I got caught up in my work book exchange, which is a plus (until I got two books this morning).Read:

I read in a number of books this month (wanted to say "tomes" but they weren't that thick). I'll try and participate in the November reading group, though.
