Starts:Anytime
Ends: Whenever you've reached your goal/done tracking
- You can set a goal for XX countries, or just read and see how far you get.
- You can claim a country based on the author (birth or resident), or based on the book's setting.
- Claim only ONE country per book, even if the book has multiple settings etc
- All formats and genres of books are fine, including audiobooks, short stories, poetry, childrens, manga etc
Books of the World discussion threads: We have discussion threads for each of the continents, so you can chat books you are reading, ask for suggestions, etc.
TRACKING OPTIONS: Whichever works best for you:
A) Create your own tracking thread. Simply add a new topic to the 'Read the World Challenge' folder, and keep track through posts to your own thread as the year goes along. Include your name in the title of your topic: ie 'Anne's World Travels'
OR/
B) Track within a single post in this thread. Post a comment below, and then as you read your books, 'edit' your post to add them. To keep the tracking threads shorter, you might want to add the countries in only as you read the books, and not list ALL the countries in advance.
