I really didn't like that book. I read the 2nd as so many of my friends loved this series and it was marginally better, but I had to force myself to finish it. That was reason enough for me not to read the 3rd one!

I liked it but think it could have been edited down (I think they didn't because the author had passed away). I will add that the book is much better on audio than in print IMO. Also - I loved the second book :)
Am almost halfway through The Obsession by Nora Roberts, which I started yesterday. Did NOT want to put it down last night.

I think they are cozies but a bit light on the mystery. I enjoy them anyway.
I'm reading Code Name Pauline: Memoirs of a World War II Special Agent and still reading Interview with the Vampire which got interrupted for a time because I decided to read Wild Tales: A Rock & Roll Life. It was interesting to read about one of my favorite bands, Crosby, Stills, Nash and Young, who seemed to only perform well when high!!?? Hasn't changed my opinion about their music.

Lucky. I had to request my copy via interlibrary loan.

I know a couple of people who love this series. I did finish the first one, but had to force myself and took almost 2 months!

I enjoyed the first one, but I have to say the second one Scarlet blew the first one out of the water.

Cress is my favorite in the series. Thorne is the best!

Started two books over the weekend, one a cozy and the other is Skin and Other Stories by Roald Dahl -- a group read for another group. Read the first two stories, will pick up one or two more after the cozy I'm reading.

I enjoyed the Christian theme in the book. Even though there are a lot of challenges faced by the pastor, who is the main character - It has sort of a warm whimsical feeling through the book. It was a good example of patience, and faith. Not freaking out when handling life's more serious obstacles. Appropriate for men and women, boys and girls of all ages.

I did enjoy it. I'm enjoying her books so far. Maybe I'll actually sit through the movies now...I didnt have much of an interest growing up but now, I just might try them. :-)

Started The Return of the Soldier by Rebecca West last night for a classic group read. I'm 1-1/5 chapters from the end, and probably would have finished it last night, had I not started it after 7pm and had to get up early today for work. Will certainly finish it later tonight. Darn day job...
