Kristi is the author of OWL AND THE JAPANESE CIRCUS (Simon and Schuster Canada/Pocket Books), an urban fantasy about a modern-day “Indiana Jane” who reluctantly navigates the hidden supernatural world, and THE VOODOO KILLINGS (Random House Canada), an urban fantasy/mystery about a voodoo practitioner living in Seattle with the ghost of a deceased grunge rocker.

She writes what she loves; adventure heavy stories featuring strong, savvy female protagonists, pop culture, and the occasional RPG fantasy game thrown in the mix. She’s also a co-host for the Adventures in Sci-Fi Publishing Podcast.

Before becoming an author Kristi was a research scientist. She holds a BSc and MSc from Simon Fraser University in Molecular Biology and Biochemistry an

Ah! I just came your question now, Stacy! Sorry for the late reply!
At the moment I’m not contracted for more Owl books but that can always change. The books have been selling well so that helps- also movie or TV options in the future can rapidly change things. I have a couple more books planned, one that involves a nordic ice giant queen, a dragon’s tail, and a whole lot of mercenaries ;-) I also may do some novellas in the future for fans to continue Owl’s story.
Hope that answers your question!

Hey Krystal!
Good news- the second Kincaid Strange book is written (tentatively calling it Lipstick Voodoo but that can/may change). We are just starting the editorial process on it so no set date, but if I had to guess I'd say May-ish 2017.

Awesome to hear you enjoyed- that always makes my day!

Small things in unprecedented times...

Well, we’ve certainly seen the world change over the past few weeks and, unless you live under a rock, chances are good your day to day life has also changed in what feels like little more than a blink of an eye.

We are in the middle of a pandemic the likes of which we haven’t seen in over 100 years and, hopefully, won’t see for another 100. Between the rampant acts of Hamsterkaufe occurring at gr

Kristi answered Holly Mergogey's question: Kristi Charish
Hey Holly!
So happy you enjoyed the series. I love writing Kincaid and her (decidedly un-romantic) love life!
Tough question. At the moment, yes. My publisher loved the series but financially it just doesn’t make sense to continue with a fourth book. H See Full Answer

Hey Desdemona,
Not at the moment! I’ve been to busy working on Kincaid and my next murder mystery.
If you do want more Owl in the future, the absolute best thing you can do is review, recommend, and email/tweet Simon and Schuster!
