Cora"I don't know what you're talking about." I tell him nonchalant when i start feeling something but damn it's too faint. I stand up and looked at him.
"Ass or not you saved me the pain of sticking myself out there. You're right it's all about the mission nothing more and nothing less." I said when i started to strip off my shirt and worked my shorts off when i turned around and dived into the water.
SeanShe tells me she doesn't know what I am taking about. She stands up and looks at me before she says ass or not I saved her the pain of sticking herself out there.
I sigh and she starts to strip down. "Whoa, what are you doing?" I say and she just dives into the water. "Cora! You shouldn't be in there." I tell her, bending down at the edge of the pool.
CoraI looked back at him when he looks at me completely shocked at what I was doing. “I have to touch the bottom of the pool. So short story simple from the mother. John Snow was an orphan here since he turned three. The nuns knew he was special but kept him hidden but they didn’t stop treating him like a normal kid.” I tell him swimming to the middle of the pool.
“But of course not every boy is going to be okay with a new home after he saw parents get offed in front of him so of course. He was closed and violent.” I said my shadows sensing something.
“No one could figure out how to open him up until one day a girl came when he was nine. They clicked do to their bloody pasta until one day they both disappeared and they found a boy around johns age drowned in the pool.” I tell him
SeanShe explains to the story behind the pool and I nod a little understanding. "Okay but why did you have to get in the pool?" I ask her as she swims around the pool. I didn't understand why she needed to be in the pool. I mean if this happened a while ago there couldn't be an evidence.

If I can just touch it then I can give you all physical proof that it’s that guy.” I tell him when I hold my breath and dived in the water

"Okay just be careful." I tell her before she dives under the water.
Cora"not like you care." I said not really trying to hide that yeah i'm fucking hurt. I wasn't asking the guy for a hand in marriage or anything and yet he just tossed me aside like a bad drug fix. I swam until the bottom of the pool and i could sense it.
Just something that ran a shiver down my spine. I touched what looked like a bracelet and all of a sudden an image of a beautiful girl appeared in my head and this icey feeling ran through my veins.

SeanShe says like I care and I can hear the hurt in her voice. Dammit. I felt like an asshole for what I said to her earlier. She swims down until she is at the bottom of the pool and sticks down there for a little bit.
Each second making me more and more on edge about her being down there.
CoraI swam back up to the surface and just managed to get a good breath of fresh air. I don't know what the hell that was but... "He didn't cause the accident. It was the girl." I said swimming over to the edge of the pool trying to just tone it down some how.
"I mean he was there to try and soothe her. And it's definitely his powers that's laced with the icyn." I said just catching my breath a bit more
SeanShe swims back up to the surface and takes a deep breath. She tells me he didn't cause the accident and it was the girl but the guy was definitely the same elemental powers used for the drug.
"Well that's good news. I mean we know who it is. We just have to find him." I say and bend down to offer her a hand out of the pool.
CoraI looked at him when he offers his hand to me, to help me get out. I shake my head and pull myself up from the pool and just went to get my clothes.
"Yeah we know who he is, but he's been off the radar for years. And i don't want to run around the entire city trying to pick up on his powers." I tell him and just squeezed my hair from the water.
"Could go to every club but, it's going to be a needle in a hay stack still."
SeanShe shakes her head and gets out on her own. She tells me that this guy had been off the radar for years and she doesn't want to go running around to hunt him down.
She squeezes the water from her hair and I sigh. "Look I'm sorry Cora. I really am. I didn't mean to an ass about this whole thing between us." I tell her and turn her so she'll look at me. "Can we start over? Maybe go get some coffee?"
Corai slipped on some shorts when he tells me that he was an asshole about what happened with us. I looked at him with a side eye when he just touches me and turns me over. I look at his honey colored eyes again and i bite my lower lip a bit.
"starting over.... you called me a random girl... that you wouldn't risk anything with me... you treated me like if i was some dirt on your boot." I told him as calmly as possible.
Sean"I never meant it like that. It's just we haven't really known each other that long. You're not some random girl but I don't really know what kind of girl you at the moment." I tell her and sigh.
"Give me another chance. Please, Cora, give me a chance to get to know you." I say softly really hoping I hadn't screwed this up completely already.
CoraI hated that he had this pull on me. He hurt me, he literally out right rejected me and its just that... maybe he just sucks at maybe not sounding as...
I looked away from his warm colored eyes. I needed a break but when he touches its like my body and power craves it. "One coffee and if by then you're still the same asshole from the beginning we're just going to be partners." I tell him and just looked at my shirt.
SeanShe looks away from me and tells me one coffee and if I am still an asshole them we are going to be just partners. I sigh as she looks down at her shirt, not meeting my eyes.
"Thank you." I say grateful for a chance. "Um do you want to go find something to dry you off with?" I ask her.
CoraI pulled away from his hold and went to grab my shirt and slipped it on when he asks me if he needs to get something to dry myself off. I shake my head.
"No need, we got to get the others i'm sure i can give you all a taste of the essence of the ice man." I tell him just walking out of the pool area. Wanting to at least give everyone a step ahead of how the guy feels like.
SeanShe pulls away from me and grabs her shirt telling me there is no need and we've got to get to the others. She heads out and I follow, catching up with her.
"Alright, they stopped in mother superior's office to talk with her. They might still be there." I tell her as we walk.
Cora"Okay she might just tell them the story she told me. But you never know, you can't have too much perspective." I tell him placing my hands over my shoulders a bit while we wait outside.
"He wasn't the one that caused the accident though... it was the girl... i saw her in my head when i touched the shadow of that even... i think she's still alive."
SeanShe tells me she is probably telling them the same story she heard but who knows and we can't have too much perspectives. She adds that he wasn't the one who caused though and it was the girl.
"So if she is still alive. Maybe we could track her down. I mean maybe he cares about her, maybe she knows where he is." I suggest with a shrug.
Cora"The thing is... they are together. I mean not as in lovers in that way but she saw him as a big brother. A replacement of the brother she lost when the men in black came and murdered her family." I tell him and just bit my lip.
"My guess is that she got bullied lost her mind for a bit and the kid suffered her out cry. None of the nuns knew she was an elemental. John must've taken her for her own security." I tell him.
Sean"Well shoot." I say as she explains that they are most likely together. I rub my neck feeling kind of stump and frustrated. I mean we know who is behind this. We just can't find him.
"Maybe Juni can sense him. She seems to be able to sense elementals at lot stronger then normal elementals." I suggest trying to figure out how we can keep moving forward from here.
CoraI looked at him and just let out a sigh. "I kind of suggested that i give you all a taste of his magic. That way all of us can be able to sense things you know." I tell him when i finally see the door of the mother superior, and the two come out.
I give them a nod and thank the mother again before i started walking on out towards the street to just get on with making a repot today.
SeanI nod thinking it was a good idea. The door opens and mother superior comes out with Leo and Juni. Cora nods to them and thanks mother superior.
We all head out and I follow behind Cora. "Mind if I ride back with you?" I ask her as Leo and Juni head off to the cruiser.
CoraI looked back at him when he asks me if he could ride with me. I bite my lip not really knowing what to say. I mean he gave me the cold degree burn but... he did ask for a shot.
"I ride in a bike so... do you know how to drive one?" I asked showing him my keys.
"I mean, do you have a problem with me wrapping my arms around his waist?"
SeanShe looks back at me and bites her lip as she asks if I am know how to drive a bike since that is what she has. I chuckle a little as she adds if I have a problem with her wrapping her arms around my waist.
"No problem. I'm a bit rusty on my bike skills but I use to ride one back in the day when I was a rookie." I tell her and hold my hands out of the keys.
CoraI smirked a little bit when he tells me that he’s a little rusty on his bike skills. I give him my keys and just went to grab the helmet. “Well in that case maybe you try not to have us killed?” I asked him and just sat on the back portion of the bike. I saw June and Leo just going to the impala.
SeanShe smiles and tells me try no to get us killed. I chuckle and buckle on a helmet before I climb on board. I have her wrap her arms around me tightly and start up the bike. "I won't just hold on tight." I tell her.
Juni
I climb into the car with Leo and hear the police radio go off. A fire in an old apartment building just down the straight. "We should go. They might need help." I tell Leo.
CoraI was suppose to still be mad. I mean I shouldn’t just be letting us have this moment. But when I wrap my arms around him. I still want a way to touch him or something. I just hold him and just feel him take off in the bike.
Leo
I looked at her when we both hear the police scanner. Just a normal gig and not this elaborate case that we have to do. I turn on my car and turn on the sirens and go towards the address.
SeanI make sure she is holding on tight before I take off on the bike heading back towards the station. It was nice to have her pressed against me, even just for moment.
Juni
He nods and turns the car on as he flips on sirens. We head towards the address and radio in that we are in route to the scene.
"Sounds like the firefighter aren't there yet. A few officers are doing crowd control but they said people are still trapped in the building." I tell him.
LeoI stop when I see the police trying to put all the people that were sorroubding the building as far away as possible. I looked at the building and the fires were accumulating before I hit back a growl. I have to go in.
“June help the officers and make sure no one goes in the building. I’m going in.” I tell her. Taking off my jacket and gun before I go to the side of the building
JuniHe stops when we get there and we get out of the car heading up towards the scene. The fire was in full force and getting worse. Leo tells me he is going in and to stay with the officers to make sure no one else goes in.
"Leo..." I start to say but he has already stripped off his jacket and headed towards the building. I sigh and chant softly under my breath he is a fire elemental, he'll be fine.
"Alright, everyone stay back from the building. We are getting things under control but you need to stay back for your own safety." I tell everyone.
"Please, ma'am. My daughter is in there." A lady begs reaching out to grip my arm.
"We'll get her out of there." I tell her trying to calm her.
LeoI looked back at her and just gave her one last look before I went into the building. The heat of the fire was intense but I can sense body heat of people in here. I emphasize the fire to diminish a little. Of course I can’t extinguish it because it will blow my cover. But I start fisting my hand to kill the intensity before I went room by room.
I found a teenager where she was hidden in the closet. By the time I was in the first floor I had two kids in my arms and then I feel the tiniest body heat.
I give the toddler to the teen. “Take then and run to the door as fast as you can.” I tell the teen and she just nods before she runs out I go back until I start hearing a baby’s cry. I go to the crib and carry the baby in my arms before I see a passed out lady. I tore my shirt and made like a satchel and placed the baby there before I went to the lady and carried her over my back before I started walking out the building.
JuniI bite my lip as watch the building. Where was the freaking firefighters? We all watch and wait and after several minutes, a teenage girl and a toddler come out. The woman from before runs to the older girl and hugs her close as another family comes forward to take the toddler.
"Where's Leo." I mumble under my breath looking back at the building. The building starts to creak and groan. The top burned out, looking like it was about to collapse.
"Everyone get back." I call out and step towards the building. I was going to get shit for this but...
"Earth." I say raising my hands and my eyes glow green. Thick vines shoot out of the ground and secure the building. Holding the collapsing part up until we are sure we got everyone out.
LeoI feel like the building was going to collapse and part of me didn’t even care about exposure. Thehallway was starting to flare and I literally focused on all the fires aura and presence until it just became part of me.
I waved my single hand left and literally all of the flames diminished to nothing when I feel the building suddenly started being reinforced. I kept on walking and pushing the fire out of my way until we made it out of the building. Finally the firefighters came into view and I see one of the frantic moms come and take the baby away when I started cpr on the lady.
JuniThe firefighters finally show up and start to get things under control as I keep the building up. I sigh as I see Leo finally come out with a baby and a passed out woman over his shoulder. I lock the plants in place to keep the building up as the firefighters put out the last of the fire.
Leo gives the passed out lady cpr and the ambulance shows up. I slump a little with a sigh glad everything turned out okay.
LeoI didn’t like the fact that I felt the smoke in the poor lady’s lungs. I cleared my throat and leaned in and locked my lips with hers. Focusing on the fire element in the smoke I inhaled the smoke in her lungs until she started coughing.
I pulled away from her lips and just saw the fire fighters coming and doing heir job before I got up and looked at June. I cupped her face and kissed her cheek.
“Let’s go before people start asking questions.”
JuniLeo makes sure the lady is breathing before he comes over to me and cups my face kissing my cheek. He tells me let's go before people start asking questions.
"M'kay." I say softly walking with him back to the car. I grip his hand in mine. "You okay?" I ask softly worried about him.
LeoI looked over at her when she squeezes my hand and asks me if I’m okay. I just lightly squeeze it back and I just gave her a playful smile. “I’m okay babe. A little smoke in the lungs isn’t going to kill me like everyone else.” I whispered to her.
Sure if I pop a gun right now it’s going to feel like I’m just mentholing my freaking lungs like it’s nobody's business.
JuniHe looks over at me and lightly squeezes my hand back giving me a playful smile He whispers he is okay and a little smoke in the lungs isn't going to kill him like anyone else.
"Thank goodness." I say softly.
LeoI walked her inside of the car and I quickly got away before anyone could see the license plates on my impala. She used her powers back there and even if the captain can protect her it doesn’t mean that some of the districts aren’t going to give her crap about it.
I take off into the night thinking in just going to the office and doing part of the report for today.
JuniI buckle up as he pulls away from the scene. I sigh and rest my head against the head rest. It was pitiful but whenever I used my elemental powers it drained me heavily. My theory is that because I can use multiple elemental powers that it taxes my body hard. That my body wasn't made to use them.
My eyes flicker closed as I doze off in the seat.
LeoI looked at June just to make sure that she was okay. I kind of felt bad that she had to use her powers. She always looked so tired when she used them. I wished there was a way to just help her out someway.
I let out a sigh just seeing her dozing off wasn’t reassuring but I knew that she needed the time out. We were back in the city and I just went straight to her home. I wasn’t going to tire her out more
JuniI wake back up after a little bit and yawn, rubbing my eyes. I blush a little noticing I dozed off. "Sorry about that. Using my powers wipes me out. Needed a quick cat nap." I say sleepily.
I glance out the window and notice we are heading to my apartment. I giggle a little and look at him. "Should I be concerned you know where I live?" I tease.
LeonI looked back at her and blushed a little when she asked me if she needed to be concerned in me knowing where she lived. “No I mean. I know everyone’s address it’s really not a big deal. I mean what if you all need something or you get too drunk to drive.” I stammered trying to just be as swift and soft as possible.
JuniHe blushes and gets all frazzled as he tells me he just knows everyone's address and it isn't a big deal. That what if we needed something or we get too drunk to drive.
I look at him and bust out laughing. "I'm just screwing with you, Leo. I know where you guys live too so it isn't that big a deal." I tell him with a smile.
LeoI laugh a little nervously realizing how much she was taken effect on me. When we were at the stop light I moved over cupping her face in my hands and I leaned in to steal her lips again. My tongue moving past her lips and just kissed her until I saw the light change green.
I pulled away and just smirked a bit smugly “Alright enough teasing you need some rest:” I tell her and turned into her apartment building and parked.
JuniI blush and gasp softly as he leans over to kiss me deeply at a red light. I kiss him back until he pulls away as the turns green. He tells me that is enough teasing and I needed to rest.
"Okay." I say frazzled as he pulls into my apartment building. "You need to rest too mister hero. I sure even with your elemental powers that all that smoke wasn't good for you."
LeoI looked at her when she looks all frazzled and blushing with the way I kissed her of course that maybe I can’t tease her the way she can tease me. But I have my ways to make her blush uncontrollably too.
“Yeah I’ll go home. Just wanted to make sure that you were okay. I mean you strained yourself to save me.” I whispered to her.
Leo introduces us and she looks at us with a little smile. She mumbles that we must have came to talk about John Snow. She asks us how she can help us.
"Well what can you tell us about him?" I ask softly with a little smile.
Sean
She tells me she got a lead and went for it. That I take to long to say at her pace so it is not her problem. "Cora." I say and sigh. "Look I'm sorry about being an ass earlier." I tell her not wanting for us to be at odds right now.
