Elements of the Heart (Red and Gemma)
SeanCora thinks about it for a moment and whispers that it sounds like the best place to go. She asks me to go call Leo and let him know what our plan is and tells them to meet us here when they are ready.
"Alright, on it." I tell her kissing her cheek. I grab a piece of bacon to munch on while I step away to go call us Sean.
CoraI just see him go after he kisses me and I have to remember to just breathe it out. We’re going to be fine and as long as we’re together. I took a sip of my coffee when I looked at the two.
Mariana looked really happy to be able to go back to her cabin. And you could see it when she leans in and gives him a kiss on the cheek. I really hope June is okay.
JuniI lift my head up a little from Leo's shoulder as I hear his phone ringing. "It's Sean." I mumble sleepily as I pass it over to him. I had dozed back off after breakfast, my body still trying to regain its energy from yesterday.
I snuggle back into his chest as he answers it, quietly listening to see what Sean had to say.
LeoWe had some simple breakfast just your regular pancakes with bacon and some hash for her. I didn’t want to just give her any stress for today. Last night she had pushed herself a lot. And it was cute to see her curled up on top of my chest while Watson is cuddled up on top of her.
I get the phone and answered the phone when I see it was Sean. I looked back at June when I tried having a light conversation
“What’s up? Everyone okay?”
SeanHe answers and asks what is up and if everyone is okay. "Yea, we're all a bit shaken up but doing good. We got Marianna back. She managed to escape Crow. She's on the mend and they are both staying at Cora's place." I tell him.
"How is Juni doing after yesterday? Cora and I were worried about how she is coping."
LeoWell that was one worry that I didn’t have. Now that the innocent is back with us. That asshole doesn’t have any kind of leverage against us which is a good feeling. “I’m glad to hear that and we’ll she’s doing better. Still a day of rest to go and she should be better.” I tell him
Lightly stroking June’s hair hearing her kind of zone out a little when I hear him talk about another status rePort. “Well I’m glad that everyone is okay. No signs of the idiot yet.
SeanHe tells me that he is glad to hear that we got Marianna back. That Juni was doing better, still needed to rest before she would be completely better. He adds there isn't any signs of Crow.
"Good. Glad to hear it." I tell him. "We are working on figuring out how to take him down but for now we think it might be better to hide out. Snow and Marianna have a cabin outside of town. We are all planning to head up there whenever you and Juni can get over to Cora's place." I say explaining out plan.
LeoI listen to him tell me what his plan was and of course they all decide that it would be better for all of us to be under a roof. “A cabin!” I said thinking about it the distance would be better for civilians and if you look at it in a mouse and cat chase. It’ll be easier to Ben prepared for that asshole.
“Sounds like a plan. We’ll see you guys in an hour over there. Got to get important things to be packed.
SeanHe tells me it sounds like a plan and that they will see us in an hour. They got to get some important things packed up. "Alright, see you then." I say and hang up. I had back to the others and tell them what is going on.
Juni
I look up at him as he finishes his call. "What's this about a cabin and why are we packing?" I ask softly starting to wake up a little more. Watson curled up in my arms.
Leo"Well it looks like they were able to rescue the girl, so that's a plus but they all think that we should really just get together and go to a cabin that belongs to Mariana and Snow." I whispered to her and kissed the top of her head.
"Don't worry i can go ahead and help pack up for both you and Watson for this trip." I whispered to her.
Juni"Oh that's good. I'm so glad they were able to rescue her. He kisses the top of my head after telling me we are all going to get together to go to a cabin Snow and Mariana own. He whispers he can help me get packed up.
"I can do it. Besides you should get home to pack up yourself." I say. "I think I can handle myself to get packed up."
Leoi looked back at her and just bite my lip a little bit when she tells me that i should just go home and pack up myself. but i leaned in and kissed her lips softly.
"I don't feel comfortable leaving you behind is all. If you want to pack yourself it's fine but... I don't want to leave your side for now."
JuniHe looks at me, biting his lip looking unsure. He leans over and kisses me softly making me sigh. He tells me he doesn't feel comfortable leaving me behind. That he didn't want to leave my side right now.
"I don't want you too either. I just don't want to take up all the time you could be packing up your own stuff." I say softly. "How about you help me and we get me done quick so we can go to your place and get you packed?" I suggest.
LeoI sigh in relief that she's not fighting me about this. I am just cupping her face in my hands when i looked back at her and just nodded my head.
"Alright, then let's go ahead and help each other out. Besides i wasn't planning on packing heavy, but we're packing for you so it's your call captian." I teased her.
JuniHe cups my face with a sigh and nods a little. He teases me a little that he wasn't planning on packing heavy so we can focus on me. I roll my eyes a little and chuckle.
"I don't have much I need. Just clothes and the basics. You can go pack up Watson's stuff. He has a bag for food and stuff. Just throw in a weeks worth and grab a few of his toys. Oh and his carrier is in the hallway closet." I tell him going to grab a duffel bag for my clothes.
Leo"Alright alright babe." i whispered to her and i leaned in and gave her a kiss on her lips. Lightly nipping at them before i pulled away. I lightly scratched at his ears a little bit before i go and do as i was told.
I wanted to be as much of help as i could have.
JuniHe whispers alright and leans in to kiss me one last time. I sigh softly and smile as he pulls away to go lightly scratch Watson's ears and then goes to pack him up. I throw some clothes the bag and grab a few things from my bathroom I would need.
It doesn't take me long to get my stuff packed. I go out to see how Leo is doing with Watson's stuff.
LeoAll of Watson's stuff was pretty self explanatory. I thought about just having stuff for a bot a week's worth since that's what June instructed me. As soon as i had his food bowls, and other things like a toy and his shampoo.
Everything was all set up to go when i looked back at June when i see her at the door all dressed.
"Well i think i got everything but you can check please."
JuniHe tells me he thinks he got everything but to double check for him. "Oh sure." I say and come over to look over everything. "Looks like you got everything. Thanks." I tell him with a soft smile and lean up to kiss him for a second. I go round up Watson and put him in his carrier.
"Alright, I'm ready to go if you are." I tell him. I felt a little better now that I was up and moving. Had something else to focus on instead of wallowing in my own self pity over my life that got blown up.
LeoI looked back at my girl and smiled feeling like i did a good job taking care of her most important man in her life before i came. I mean Watson has been guarding her and he's been doing a great job about it something that i do like about animals.
"Thanks darling." I kissed her back and walked her out of her apartment. When we get to mine i didn't even take more than twenty minutes. I mean i knew what i needed and it was all easy to access.
I get back in the car and drive to Cora's
"Do you know where she lives?"

He thanks me and walks with me out of my apartment, carrying my bags and Watson. We drive to his apartment and get him all packed up and set. We load everything up in the car and drive towards Cora's.
"Nope but Sean texted us the address." I tell him giving him the directions to her place.
((Night!!))Leo
“Well that’s really helpful. Three couples living under one roof. One of them has had a sexual awakening and the other can’t seem to keep their hands off each other.” I said thinking back on Cora and Sean. The way they looked at each other you could tell they wanted each other.
“Sure hope they have sound proof walls or it’s goinf to be awkward.” I tell her trying to just break the ice a bit.
JuniI blush as he says this is going to be interesting having three couples under the same roof. Especially when one has had a sexual awakening and the other can’t seem to keep their hands off each other.
"Well I'm sure they'll figure something out." I say softly, turning bright red. I mean we were right there with them, at least I thought we are. After yesterday... jeez I couldn't get his body out of my mind. I swear him shirtless is going to be my new kryptonite.
LeoI looked back at her when she tells me they were going to figure it out. I smiled a little when I see her face blushing red. I wanted to know what’s got her red but I just smiled. “Last night was amazing being with you June..” I whispered to her placing my hand on her lap trying to find the right words.
“I do love you June and I’m not pressuring you or anything but I’d like to show you how much you mean to me. When of course you’re okay with it.” I said my turn to blush cuz I was rambling
JuniHe whispers that last night was amazing, being with me and rests his hand in my lap. He tells me he loves me and he doesn't want to pressure me but he likes showing me how much I mean to him. He blushes a little himself.
"I like it too. I'm just... I guess I'm not use to feeling like this. It's so intense and consuming. It scares me sometimes how much I love you and how much I need you." I whisper softly gripping his hand with mine.
LeoI looked up at her and smiled when she told me that this feeling was new to her. And it was definitely cute. I parked up outside of Cora’s apartment building when I reached out at her. I lightly cupped her face and leaned in to kiss her lips softly
“I really do love you and I feel like I need you just as much.” I whispered to her.
JuniHe smiles a little and parks outside of Cora's apartment. He reaches out to cup my face and kiss me softly. I sigh and kiss him back as she whispers he really loves me and he feels like he needs me just as much.
"Glad to hear it isn't just me." I whisper softly and peck his lips one more time before I get out of the car, grabbing Watson's carrier so we can head inside.
LeoI smiled thinking that she was just so cute right now. I leaned in and kissed her one more time before I pulled away when I helped her out with Watson. Of course I wasn’t going to keep the cats inside.
I guide her inside and Cora opens up the door for us. She looked good in comfortable clothes such as a boyfriend shirt and jean shorts. She was glowing and I knew that the cabin felt more like a couples retreat
JuniHe helps me up and then guides me inside as Cora opens the door. She looked excited and kind of had this glow to her. She looked happy. I head in with Leo and Sean waves to us slinging some bags over his shoulder.
"Perfect timing. We are just packing up to head out." He tell us.
CoraI wrapped my arms around her and just gave her a peck on her cheek when i brought my guests inside. Mariana was helping us get some of my emergency elemental blockers that could be helpful at their cabin.
If we can't stop him from copying our powers we can sure as hell stop him from using any powers that's for sure.
JuniCora wraps her arms around me and gives me a peck on the cheek as she brings us inside. I hug her back for a moment glad she was okay too. That asshole did a number on all of us yesterday.
Snow helping a girl grab some devices. I am guessing she is the Mariana girl we got back. "I think we've got everything." Snow tells them.
CoraI looked back at her and just smiled a little bit when it looks like we all got packed up and ready to go. I grabbed my gym back and suitcase with the good stuff when i looked back at Sean and smiled.
"So let's go, onto the batcave!" I said excited and of course i was just trying to break the ice here.
SeanI chuckle and wrap an arm around her waist kissing her cheek. "Only you would be excited about this." I say with a smile glad she wasn't freaking out anymore. She really seemed shaken up yesterday but I was glad to see she was a little more at ease now that we are all working together to take down Crow.
"Alright you guys lead the way." Juni says and then pauses. "Whose going with who since Snow and Mariana don't have a car?" She asks.
CoraI looked back at him and smiled when he kissed my cheek and told me that only i would be excited about this. I just lightly touch at his jawline and smiled a little bit. "It's going to be okay... and because i believe that i'm a little more relaxed."
I explained to him before we go on ahead and go to our cars and start driving away.
SeanI smiles as she touches my jaw and smiles saying it's going to be okay and because she believes that she is a little more relaxed. I squeeze her close and we all head out to the cars to drive to the cabin.
It takes a few hours but soon we are pulling down the winding path to the cabin.
CoraI was siting on the car just looking at the rest of the forest and the way home. It felt like a nice little road trip and it was really comfortable.I really didn't know what was going to happen in the future.
I see the cabin up ahead and i just whistled a little bit. God damn that was a big cabin.
"It's mostly rebuilt, John and I had been working on it for a couple of years alread.y" I hear Marian from the back seat when we parked.
JohnCora whistles and Sean says damn as they look at our cabin. Mari explains that we mostly rebuilt it. That we had been working on it for a couple years now.
"Yea, it was practically falling apart when we bought it. But we got it for cheap and we figured it would be a nice project to keep us busy." I add as we all get out of the car.
MarianaI jump out of the car so happy to be back in our home. It hasn't changed at all and i'm kind of glad that no one has ever found it. I helped everyone with the bags and just smiled when i hear John talking about our home
"Every room is kind of custom made, I'm kind of a painter so each room has different murals." I said blushing a little bit.
"Anyway... They're not sound proof but maybe Cora can help with that?" I asked Cora and she blushed a little.
"Sure."

I chuckle and kiss my girl's cheek as Snow hugs his girl to him and kisses her head. Juni and Leo come over with their bags and Juni's cat.
MarianaI giggled a little when John brings me in and hugs me giving me a kiss. But honestly i was just happy to be home. I helped guide everyone back up the stairs and to the cabin.
I helped everyone settle in to the two extra rooms that we had. I didn't mind having guests. SUre i was used to the peace and just being John and i but i can trust these people that have saved me and my man.
JohnWe get everyone settled into the extra rooms and I sigh glad to be back home. I wrap my arms around Mari and kiss her neck softly as I nuzzle her hair. Softly inhaling her sweet scent that soothes me so much.
"I missed being here. I missed you." I whisper, just happy to be back with her in our home. That was the hardest thing about me being away. Not having her there with me.
MarianaI was finally in our room just putting some of the anti elemental weapons in safe places that way if we need to use them they'd be close to reach. I feel John's arms around me and i smiled when he kissed my neck
"Mmm yes we're back home.. I missed you too." I whispered to him turning my head a bit when i leaned in and kissed his lips softly.
JohnI kiss her back after she whispers she missed me too. I cup her cheek as I nip at her lips softly. "Love you, Mari." I whisper against her lips. For a moment things felt perfect. I was back in our home. I had my girl with me who was finally wearing my ring.
I know things can't stay like this with Crow out there but for a moment things felt right.
LeoI set up our bags in the extra bedroom that more or less looked like the setting of the Lion King. Very bright desert like colors. It felt interesting with the dusk tones that it had.
I let Watson out of his cage and he moves around the room probably getting the whiff of things.
"So this looks like a good place. I mean it doesn't seem sketchy at all or feel like it's a murder house." I joked
JuniOur room is really pretty, bright and colorful. I smile a little and Leo lets Watson out to sniff around the room. He jokes that this looks like a good place and doesn't seem sketchy. I roll my eyes and laugh.
"Well I didn't think it would be. I mean they kind of need us to help stop Crow besides I don't feel like they are the murdering type."
Leo"I know babe." I went to her side and lightly kissed her cheek when i let my arms just lightly run across her sides and just let out for a deep breath.
"Well this is a lot more relaxing. I wanted to help you get your mind taken away of things. And this cabin in the woods is going to be very helpful."
JuniHe tells me he knows and lightly kisses my cheek as he runs his arms along my sides. He lets out a deep breath as he adds that it is a lot more relaxing her and he wants to help me get my mind off of things.
"You can't protect me from it forever, Leo. I have to face this at some point." I whisper cupping his cheek softly. "But thank you."
I looked back at Mari and John when they offer up their home and in some odd way it made sense. It was away from the city so if Crow decided to come at us there wouldn’t be any casualties of any sorts. I let it sink in a little more and I just let out a sigh.
“Sounds like it’s our best place to go. Babe call Leo let him know what our plan is. To meet us here when they’re ready.” I whispered to Sean.
