I'm afraid we don't have any spaces on medium teams at the moment. We might get spaces if people don't check in in time though. Would you like to be added to a fun team or as a solo member, and then you have the option to switch over if a space opens up?

Hi Himanshu, I will message people who haven't checked in on the 2nd, but I think Team Three Eyed Fish is a Just-for-Fun team, and I'm afraid we don't chase people who sign up for fun teams, because it's just for fun. That means that I won't be messaging people who haven't checked in on your team, because it's a just for fun team.

So any poetry book below 300 pages won't be counted? And I'm currently reading A Monster Calls, a mixture of words and graphics (mostly words, I think) so how would I count that? Just normally as the page count or like a full-on graphic novel?

I'm not a mod but I would think it would count more like poetry since there is probably a reduced word count like in poetry. There are editions over 300 pages so you are covered if it is like poetry. :)

Well, I meant two different situations. I have poetry books around 200 pages and I wasn’t sure if they could still be allowed.

Then there’s the A Monster Calls one. I wasn’t sure if that counted a graphic or normal or half (is that even a thing?) or something else.

I’ll just wait for Sarah because I have absolutely no idea what I’m doing :’)

Usually what they will allow you to do if a book is not quite long enough is to submit two of the same kind together for the pts. So if your poetry book isn't long enough then you could do two and turn them in together.

As for A Monster Calls I believe it may count like a regular book but it's been a couple years since I read it. I'm sure Sarah will let you know for sure on both counts though. :)

It is late. About 3am. But I have a weird sleep schedule. So I'm up at all times of the day. Right now since it's so freaking hot I'm sleeping during the day and staying up a night when it's a tiny bit cooler. It's the only way I can survive this 40 degree weather. We have no air conditioning so I have to rely on fans and cold baths.

I think we normally count a monster calls as a regular book ☺

The best thing to do with poetry is to post all your books together, and then we'll add the page counts together for maximum points ☺
