Wow, I'm bad at it too, mostly because after the 4th, 5th, or 6th book in the series I get kinda bored of it. the exception seems to be The Legend of Drizzt.

I did start this challenge perfectly in time, for I have finished my first series with The Hero of Ages (yes I'm counting it as a proper series)So go me, 3 points already ^^

Right now I don't have this bored problem MorteTorment, it's more a "I want to read everything... so I start every series I come across", similarly to the "I want to read everything so I start all the books without finishing them" ^^

And I think that's fair. Otherwise, you would have to read tooons of books to atone for all the series started because "BR madness" :p
And with a Kate Fosley mystery (a series it seems I'm reading completly out of order, something I never do and don't like to do, but the first one isn't translated in French, so I started with book 2, and I was sure I had grab book 3 when it really was book 6...), that's 10 points ! I can start a new series now :) I'm thinking about the Colin Dexter's Morse, but we will see.
Just finished The trouble with love and with that another series ! I'm a bit sad because I really love this series. But there is a spin off, so yeah, and this author has a lot of other books I haven't read yet.

Anni, I'm finding this system quite nice. I can earn a book 1 by reading 10 continuations and that's great since I don't usually binge-read series, and I like variety, and some of those series are really long or I'm really behind... so it works nicely for me :)
Wow, you're right, I haven't realised how long some of these series are! 😱 Most of the series I read contains 4-6 books, so I just try to finish one or two series for starting a new one :D
Yeah. The Urban Fantasy ones are especially long, I think :O
I thought The Crowns of Croswald was a stand alone but it doesn't seem so. So, I need to spend my 2nd earned series starter for it. Luckily, I'm up to date since there is just this one, so I got 2 points :)

I am casually reading a few pages from time to time, so if you don't have the time for it right now we could totally report it to say October or November. Or we can read it now but I won't be reading it really fast I fear, since I have a lot of things planned for September.And we could request a thread for the whole series perhaps ?

I was thinking maybe planning Ten Things I Love About You in November, if you want to join me :) (I need to be careful about my November and don't plan too much stuff since I'm thinking about doing the Nanowrimo... won't have a lot of time to read !)
For Lux I started Shadows but even tough it's really short, I can't seem to bring myself to pick it up and read it. So we can do this one whenever you want !

Falling Kingdoms- I found somebody who is reading it today only and we decided to do around 75 pages per day till we finish from tomorrow.

Twenty sided sorceress is 2 books a month from January.
Not reading Falling kingdoms from the beginning, I didn't like them enough to reread the first 2 ^^ but will cathc up with you when you get to book 3 !I've made my demand for the MacHalos :)

I'm changing a tiny bit my count of the points. I still have the points I earned in 2018 (I will start a new count in 2019) but for the total I'm substracting 10 points for every series started (except, as already stated, for some BR). I hope I won't always be in negative ^^

Here is my Incomplete Series Challenge. The rule is : Every book read in a series bring in points. I can start a new serie every 10 points.
Continuing a series = 1 point
Bringing up to date = 2 points
Finishing a series = 3 points
Finishing a 10+ volumes series = 5 points
