Dragana (diaryofthebookdragon) Does someone has recommendation of non-mm romances for age-gap genre?
I'm looking at the list and all I see are mm romances: https://www.goodreads.com/shelf/show/...
If I don't find anything else, I might pick some pnr with vampires...

message 5: by Pamela Su (new)

Pamela Su (thebluebaroness) | 194 comments Hi Dragana,

You might try looking for "May-December" which is another term for age-gap.

My age-gap books tend to be smutty erotica, so I can't recommend any. Sorry!

However, here's some lists I found which I see a wider range of MF

Dragana (diaryofthebookdragon) @Elizabeth 'Life after life' is a wonderful book if you like whimsical literary historicals. :)

Thank you all for your lists. I didn't think to look for similar tags. I found a couple of interesting choices (at least for me) for age-gap category:
Anyone But You by Jennifer Crusie Ain't She Sweet by Susan Elizabeth Phillips Unteachable by Leah Raeder Lady Sophia's Lover (Bow Street Runners, #2) by Lisa Kleypas These Old Shades (Alastair, #1) by Georgette Heyer Somebody to Love (Gideon's Cove, #3) by Kristan Higgins Beauty from Pain (Beauty, #1) by Georgia Cates The Redhead Revealed (Redhead, #2) by Alice Clayton

Lama Noureddine | 20 comments Hey Everyone :)
I have a simple question
Do we have to read 5 books for each topic: like 5 books for tattooed/bad boy/motorcycle and for each one
Then when we are done rate the topics in the order that we liked them best?
Thanks for the help

message 13: by Dee (new)

Dee (austhokie) | 7316 comments Lama - you only have to read 1 book for each topic - so one tattooed/bad boy; 1 witches etc

message 17: by Medavis66 (new)

Medavis66 | 238 comments Wish we could pick our favorite topic out of the group we were assigned and read 5 books. I'd be all over Tattooed/ Bad boy/ Motorcycle so fast my head would swim. Plus, I would probably be done with the challenge at the end of the week. Gee, can you tell that is one of my favorites? Age gap was a struggle for me because I've read so many of the top ones and time travel was near impossible because I don't typically read it. Witches and Friends to lovers was easy-peasy for me.

How did the rest of you fair with the assignment?
:-) Elaine

Time travel is among my least favorite genres but thankfully I have two candidates. For the other genres I had many books to choose among.

'The Bride' is such a wonderful book. Full of laughter and of course romance. :)
'Love, Come to Me' is one of the first Kleypas books, but I loved it. Like 'Gone with the wind' just twisted situation: Yankee girl & Southerner. You should read it Hina! (if you did not already)

BTW There's another great enemies2lovers book -> Gone with the Wind

Medavis66 | 238 comments If you are looking motorcycle, tatted, bad boys with romance, try anything by Kristen Ashley, Julie Ann Walker, and Jaci Burton. There's also Katy Evans.

Witches? If you want mild, go for something like Hex Hall. I personally love the House of Night series by P.C. Cast - I think Marked is book 1.

Dee (austhokie) | 7316 comments when it comes to ranking your final books - consider 2 things - 1) your enjoyment of the book and 2) how well the theme was presented/reflected through-out - so you could have a book that you enjoyed more, be lower ranked than one with the theme being a stronger role - if you have any questions, let me know
