I'm still about half way into book 3 I keep getting sidetracked by lighter books because I've been super depressed lately. @Ivy (view spoiler)

Started Dragon Reborn today... Liked the prologue.. This prologue was much better and understandable than the previous books...

I for one love the audiobooks, both narrators are in my top 5 favorite list.

(I read the second one while waiting for Dragon Reborn to come in through the library, but now can.not.stop. until I'm finished with the third.) But I should start Dragon Reborn within a week.

Update: I'm about 50% through Fires of Heaven (Book 5) and it is still on par with the ones that came before. Also, when are you guys and gals reading New Spring? I have heard mixed things. Some of you on here have read it as a prequel but I have heard to read it between 5 and 6 or wait and read it at the end. Thoughts?
Side Note: I did some math and if I continue on my current reading course of 100 or so pages a day then I will finish this monster of a series the first week of September (hopefully finishing will be an early birthday present). Seems crazy that one series is going to take up five months of my reading life.
Read it in publication order. I believe that's between 10 & 11, but I'm not 100% positive.I'm not sure why you'd read it between 5/6 or at the end.

I read it in publication order, after book 10, and I thought that fit best. I doubt it would hurt your enjoyment of the series to read it out of publication order, but that’s my opinion on when it is best to read it.
By the time you reach the end of book 5, you’ll probably see why some people choose to read it then. I also think people suggest that point as being the earliest point when New Spring is unlikely to reveal anything that you haven’t already read or figured out for yourself. I disagree though, because there’s at least one character that the book might influence your opinion on too early. And there’s another reason why it fits well in publication order, but it would be way too spoilerish to even hint at it.
I read it before the others because I bought the Kindle version of all of the books. It's not destroying/spoiling my reading of book 1 & 2 and I've just started book 3

Reading between 5 and 6 kind of makes sense after what will happens in 5.. I might start after 5, but I'm not sure.

I read it in publication order. It was back when it first came out so I didn't have a choice. I felt it was good timing, but it's been a while.
I'm to the tug, tug, tug parts of the book (at least once a chapter that the character takes part in)aaagggghhhh!
i am ready to start the whole serie
One hour left of The Great Hunt audio book. I will be taking a detour on my commute home tonight so I can finish it :)
Finished Fires of Heaven last night. Thoughts below.Huge Fires of Heaven Spoilers ->(view spoiler)
Just a few thoughts lol
Hopefully, everyone is enjoying the books as much as I am.
Off topic: I'm debating on reading the new Nightshades book, Outbreak before moving onto the next WoT. Really liked the first two books. They're pretty short and a lot of action. If you like vampire/crime books (well more crime but has vampires in it), they might be up your alley.
I've finished: The Dragon Reborn and started The Shadow Rising
I've read several of the books before, but I had not read The Dragon Reborn and I'm not sure about The Shadow Rising. This is a major problem with checking books out of the library, you have no record of what you've read before and it's difficult to find the newer books on the shelves, so I've likely read at least 1-2 later books.
Anyway the last one was good but a bit difficult figuring out who was where
Finally finished The Great Hunt and enjoyed the continuation of the story. My only criticism is that things sometimes come together too conveniently. I'm going to take a short break before diving into The Dragon Reborn.
Just wanted to drop in and say hello :) Life has gotten a bit crazy/busy so I’ll be putting off starting the Dragon Reborn for a few weeks. I still love reading the comments on here when I get a chance so I’ll keep popping in randomly. Keep reading folks!!! WoT is a marathon.
I'm up to chapter 33 of the Fires of Heaven and it's definitely t the point of too many characters to keep track of
There will maybe be television adaptation of WoT! 😊 https://www.tor.com/2018/06/12/the-wh...I’m using phone, hope that the link works.
I hope they keep it some what close to the storyline... Doesn't have to be perfect but hopefully close!

That'd be great! Then I could know what happened even if I die before I finish these books!

Finished Dragon Reborn. Should start Shadow Rising very soon.
