Kristine | 284 comments Nesting by Roisín O’Donnell Long-listed for Women’s Prize for Fiction. It is about a woman living in Ireland trying to get out of her Emotionally Abusive Marriage. She is frightened of her husband and and his rages and insults, yet getting away while pregnant with two young children is very difficult. The writing is superb and it feels so true. Feel for Ciara and want her to be able to break free.

Kristine | 284 comments The Lion Women of Tehran by Marjan Kamali by Marjan Kamali Really loving this book. Captures the history of Iran and all its changes through the friendship of two best friends. They are very different, but since young children always find their way back to each other.

The Sirens by Emilia Hart The Sirens Emilia Hart So far very interesting tale. Has Dual Timeline of Sisters in 2019 and also sisters on a boat from long ago of years ago. Are the stories connected? Waiting to find out. Great references to the Sea and its beauty and its fear.
