It's a good thing you bleeped the mother...

Should we limit this to one character per series? Because you know I'm going all Malazan otherwise and I'm sure others will as well or go all Stormlight Archives, etc.

Diana Stormblessed (dashichka) | 5391 comments Iain wrote: "It's a good thing you bleeped the mother..."

Lol, I thought the same. Like, um, isn't the wrong word being bleeped here?

Diana Stormblessed (dashichka) | 5391 comments Scott wrote: "Should we limit this to one character per series? Because you know I'm going all Malazan otherwise and I'm sure others will as well or go all Stormlight Archives, etc."

I think as long as you limit it to 3, if they're of the same series it's still fair game.

I didn't want to go all Sanderson... picking from Stormlight Archive I'd pick:

Kaladin Stormblessed -- (Words of Radiance, Chapter 56) -- Honor's dead. But I'll see what I can do.

1. Karsa Orlong - I cannot wait until the buddy read gets that far in Malazan so people can start the debates.

2. Icarium - F*cking people up for millenia.

3. Cotillion - I could have gone Hood, Rake, Dassem, Quick Ben, Kalam.............but Cotillion has style.

Going to go for some folks that aren't listed so far. There seem to be quite a few go-to guys from the same series that are getting all the glory.

1. Acheron Parthenopeus (Dark/Were/Dream Hunters) Because urban fantasy/paranormal romance has it's fair share of bad asses!

2. Susannah Dean (Dark Tower) She's a badass woman gunslinger who does it all with no legs!

3. Scorpio the Pig (Revelation Space) He is literally a pig and a super badassed space warrior.

I was tempted to pick some Manga characters.... but if those folks were involved there was no way I could narrow this down to 3.... Plus I don't feel like there are many Manga fans in this group.

Dark-Hunters was great right up and including Acheron... I started falling out of love with the series after that as it became a pantheon smorgasbord...

I think I knew it was going down hill with No Mercy. When Native American stuff got added to the sauce it was one pantheon too many.
