It's lined up Grey! Need to finish what I am reading, then maybe Jean's ATF - then on to angst central which I assume this is. Transcend will also be read but not until book 2 is out!

I'm crying and I'm ok with the end. (view spoiler)[I started to realize that Reese was more worried about his own happiness, although he DID love Charlie and also wanted her to be happy, yet Cameron was much more worried about Charlie's happiness.

And yes, I know Cameron checked out for all that time, but she admitted that she checked out too. AND they did lose 2 children AND Cameron did have an awful childhood and never learned to talk until he finally went to a therapist. Those things were believable to me, especially after she went over the thought process she used to make the decision she did and mentioned that she made vows with this man. However, all the plot holes we mentioned still exist and are very real.

1) The lack of communication through texting (mainly in book 2).
2) Her going to Florida with zero mention of Cameron offering/asking to go with her.
3) Blake being allowed to fall on Reese's dick. As far as the rest about Blake, after I thought about it, it was kind of believable to me that he wouldn't tell Blake about Charlie right away and that after the 2 months had gone by, he'd STILL be with her and bring her to the gala--he had a bit of a selfish side and I can see him hoping to make Charlie jealous.
4) For me, too much unexplained time passing. It wasn't believable to me that she and Reese (especially as persistent as Reese was) would have NO time to talk at school during the 2 months. He should have at least tried so that she could scold him and say 'I promised Cameron two months and I'm going to abide by that.' We simply weren't given any info about them interacting at school.

In the end, I thought Charlie's explanation about why she made the decision she did worked, AND combined with everything that happened in the book, it convinced me that she was making the right decision. HOWEVER, she could have picked the other one, and with the right logic, I may have agreed with her there too. That's how torn I was. (hide spoiler)]

When it said Daisy's hair curled around her ears (or something similar), it made me think she had to be his. Daisy had blue eyes, and when I looked it up, Charlie had blue eyes, but I couldn't remember (or find) what color the guys' eyes were. (hide spoiler)]

Yes, as much as I loved the 2nd book, I felt that it was rushed. It definitely needed further content editing to find plot holes and inconsistencies.

I loved it! I just had to suspend belief or fill in the blanks myself about a few things. I still don't know if I'm happy with the ending, but I'm pretty sure I am! lol But even if I hated the way it turned out, I still would have loved the duet.

It twisted my tummy, it made me cry, small parts of it pissed me off, it made me swoon, it made me guess, it made me think--all the things I LOVE in a book/series!

I still haven't decided what I'm giving the 2nd book, but it'll probably be 4-1/2 stars (1/2 deducted due to the plot issues).
