Week 9 | Theme 16 | Option 1 ~ Completion PostBookcover/link: Lead
Rating (1-5): ππππ
Review: Audiobook
Sooo...I put off reading this one because of Lena. Do you all remember this review where I express my extreme displeasure of her: Play Review
Yep, I held a mean grudge against her. It took me half of Lead to actually forgive her. YES, I was about 50% of the way through Lead before my heart softened towards her.
However, once I forgave how she treated Mal, I began to really like her and enjoy the story. Itβs wasnβt my favorite, but it was another success in the Stage Dive series.
GR Friends, have you noticed something.....IβM ENJOYING BOOKS!

Plethora wrote: "Week 10 Theme Call"Yikes. this weekend/week has ben packed. realized I need to pick and read for this.
My two short books I've already read this week are just over 200. Off to search.

Review: Meeeeehhhhh, for a classic Lit book it was ok. I'm not a fan of classic literature but at least this was readable. This book is considered the birth of Gothic Literature and it packed a lot of content into the 125 pages. I can see how it sparked Dracula and Frankenstein and I appreciated it. I'm glad I read, but it's not my favorite.
Ok... it only took FOREVER to find a book with 101 pages. I had another challenge that i needed a book with only 101 pages. Which is well below normal for the group out was required for. So i figured I'd search for one that fit both.

Review: Probably not fair rating. I haven't read any of the novels for this character/world. So while I suspect it tells Tenzin's story well of how she became who she is it was not so much for my taste. Hard to relate without the knowledge of the other books. This was just a quick backstory for one of the characters in the book series.
FYI: Graphic descriptions and words.
Fits: 101 pages
Week 9 | Theme 16 | Option 1: Completion Post16. Read a book with an actor or entertainer in the storyline.
Book link: The Redhead Revealed by Alice Clayton
Page numbers: 228 Pages
How the book qualifies: #11 on Hollywood Romance Novels List
Review: I liked this book as much as I liked the first one when I read it years ago. The main character is funny and raunchy and the romance was hot. It was a light hearted funny read.

That is always the plan. I generally stay away from ones with that low of a page count since tio low for most challenges. So very happy that it actually works for three big ones.

Review: What a fun book. I enjoyed the storyline and of course the animals.
But most of all I liked the community that they surrounded themselves with. Such a wonderful group of women who became friends.

Review
Christina Lauren is one of my favourite authors and I had this book on by shelf for nearly one year. But once I started I could not stop reading. So why only 4 stars, I really donβt know. I like how Carter and βEvilβ meet and the chemistry between them. The characters are well developed and the story finds the right blance between fun, love and drama. I think only the general setting in Hollywood and the MCs being agents was not what I liked.

Review
Iβve already read the Thomson & Son Series from Vivian Arend and liked it, so I was excited when I found out there is another series linked to it. And it has not disappointed π The book is steamy, funny and drama, excactely how I like it and the best is there are lots of books in this series. The first part is about the oldest Coleman brothers Blake and Jaxi.
Plethora wrote: "Sorry i didn't get fully caught up before it ended."No worries, Plethora. The purpose was to have fun and we achieved that.

Review: Another winner by Jane Austen.
She was definitely ahead of her time. I would have loved to meet her.
