These were both 4-star reads for me, and I wouldn't mind seeing them as a book of the month read in one of our groups. Lots of food for thought.... and suspense.

Thes..."
I love Tami Hoag's books, but I haven't read that series yet. Glad to hear you liked it.

I rarely DNF a book.

Since I rarely DNF a book, I strongly suspect that the real reason I couldn't get into it is because I had Edge of Darkness waiting for me.

Imperfect Hero/Heroine

I just finished
and really enjoyed it. Couldn't put it down until the end. I'm still trying to wrap my head around it before attempting to write a review.

I finished listening to Right Where We Belong by Brenda Novak, Silver Springs #4, and really enjoyed this one as it has an unusual storyline. Here’s my review.
I finished Dark in Death by J.D. Robb, In Death #47, and found it to be a cleverly written story. Enjoyed it and here’s my review.
I’m listening to Windigo Island by William Kent Krueger, Cork O’Connor #14 and reading Murder on St. Mark's Place by Victoria Thompson, Gaslight Mystery #2.

Can’t wait to start!

Can’t wait to start!
I'm reading an arc of
now and oh my goodness...somebody needs to call the fire department because something or someone is going up in flames in this one! Smokin' hot!

I finished
- the book is every bit as seductive as the cover. It's a non-typical rock star story. Loved every page! My Review

I finished Murder on St. Mark's Place by Victoria Thompson, Gaslight Mystery #2, and am now hooked on this series. Here’s my review.
I’m now reading At Close Range by Laura Griffin, Tracers #11.

I was so pleasantly surprised at how much I loved it. I think I saw where it's now available for request on Netgally.

I finished For This Moment by Holly Bush, The Gentrys of Paradise #2, and really liked this story, especially as it’s an historical set in America. Here’s my review.
I finished Second Chance Cowboy by A.J. Pine, Crossroads Ranch #1, and enjoyed it, despite a rather angsty cowboy. Here’s my review.
I’m now reading Murder on Gramercy Park by Victoria Thompson, Gaslight Mystery #3.
