Sorry Jan! Spent two hours+ and a lot of money at Ikea today, can't think properly!

I want snow-topped mountains

(Because I'm cooking something called snow mountains at the moment)

message 104: by Jan, Moderator (new)

Jan | 20940 comments Perfect....and your cooking adventure sounds interesting. Is it something topped with marshmallow?

message 105: by [deleted user] (new)

No, it's in milk cooked, Nockerl-shaped, with sugar beaten egg whites served with vanilla sauce (sounds disgusting, when you explain it that way, lol)

message 106: by Jan, Moderator (new)

Jan | 20940 comments I had to google Nockerl....looks a little like meringue.

Sorry :D there's just no real translation for this word, it describes mostly the shape of something, no matter what it's made of... kind of like with dumplings

I would like to say, I was very productive yesterday while listening to the audio book but it was an easy book to listen to and play a puzzle game on my phone.

message 131: by Teri-K (new)

Teri-K | 1269 comments I'm curious if Uprooted by Naomi Novik by Naomi Novik would count as a single rose. There's a small pink flower on the left side that looks like a carnation to me, not a rose. But I don't have the actual book and others might think it's a rose. How would the mods call it?

Thanks!

Kathryn (an80slady6886) | 548 comments I'll take #62 with Frontier Grit The Unlikely True Stories of Daring Pioneer Women by Marianne Monson . The hats seem too small to be considered cowboy hats, what do you think, Jan?

New: The American flag

message 150: by Jan, Moderator (last edited Feb 28, 2018 01:48PM) (new)

Jan | 20940 comments That's a hard one Kathryn - they are "almost" cowboy hats but it certainly isn't in the normal setting. And with their dresses I'm going to go ahead and accept it.

Does look like an interesting book - can't wait to see if you likes it .
