I'm in Montana in the old west, late 1800's I think. I'm working as a cowhand on the Bar VR ranch, and me and Old Red got us a mystery to solve. He might not be able to read or write, but that don't mean he ain't plenty smart, and he reckons he can do the same kind of deducin' as that Sherlock feller. Old Red takes this detective stuff pretty seriously, but I have to admit to being thoroughly amused.
In a little bit, I'll be somewhere outside London in another flat with Other Mother, Other Father, and all kinds of other Other people. I'm slightly creeped out, but this is an all ages experience so I'm pretty sure I can handle it.

My eyes were in a mausoleum with President Lincoln. He was saying goodbye to his son, Willie. There were lots of spirits/shades there too.

I really enjoyed the book. It was such an interesting premises. It was not what I expected. I think that lead to some of my enjoyment

Right now I'm in Alabama, telling about the adventurous life of my father.

My ears are solving a murder in LA.

I'm in Honduras, Texas, Oregon, and one other U.S. city whose name I can't remember. When you're travelling around like that, it's hard to keep track of names apparently.

Moved on to Tehran, Iran in 1979 by the end of the day.

Yesterday, I was in Indiana for a while, hanging out with some circus folk in a place that is really familiar.
Then, I was in Florida with a group of "peculiar" friends who are trying to learn everything they can about present-day America.
Finally, I was in an unknown country, at least I can't remember knowing it, in a mostly abandoned village populated by some really bad men.

I have been where you now Peggy and it is a great destination :-D

Hi Shannon. This thread is a fun thread to tell each other on a weekly basis the setting of the books we're reading as if we are there. Welcome to our group. We have another thread for making recommendations. Please be mindful of posting in the correct threads.

I'm also in Seattle, preparing to take on a new job on the Maine Coast. I think I'm going to encounter a ghost.

LOL! No worries. You're welcome to move it over to this thread. I know it can be difficult to get orientated to a new group.
