Sunday Check In - Where are you? - 2018
Margo wrote: "Missed sunday check in as I was ill. I shared my bug with Pharoh Nefertiti ancient egypt."Probably it was the other way around and she shared it with you. Get better, Margo.
Ha, you could be right - I am glad she didn't the black death :O Thanks Rusalka. Still a bit wobbly but getting there :-)
Just curious Margo did Nefertiti share a scarab beetle or a dung beetle? I am hoping the bug she gave was the scarab lol Margo wrote: "Missed sunday check in as I was ill. I shared my bug with Pharoh Nefertiti ancient egypt."
Haha Renee :-D The Eygptians blamed rats for the spread but, in all good (!?) horror movies, those beetles always seem to hang around Mummies :O
I'm still in the US with detours to various other places. I'm also in a village near Paris (present day) and travelling through France with a fugitive trying not to get caught in 1732.
I was with my Indian family in the US, but I am moving to the next short story now. Not sure where I will land.
I'm in 2 regions of Italy. I'm in ancient Rome viewing crucifixions and also in northern Italy more than 1000 years in the future still stuck in a mediaeval monastery. At least the inquisition has moved on and I'll not have to witness burning at the stake as well...
Annerlee wrote: "I'm in 2 regions of Italy. I'm in ancient Rome viewing crucifixions"So uplifting. o.O
I am stuck in the Orkney Islands in 1317.I may visit Rome and see what Cicero and Tiro are up to or go to Botswana and visit with Precious and Grace later.
I'm in limbo! I have finished all my books. I'll head to what is presumably suburbia USA with an alien.

my eyes are with Peggy and Margo. My ears are back and India. And kinda bored to be honest. If I was not doing chores while listening I probably would have given up.
I'm in some fantasy land cutting back bramble that can kill which is spreading as a result of people performing magic.

Hahaha...
I am drunk in a small town in Texas, looking for a girl that I plan to kill to help out a friend that I met on a train.
I've left Oklahoma (though it seems to be a crazy place I could spend all night) and I'm heading to the zoo for a while. I have no idea where this particular zoo is located, but I will be hiding out there for a while with my 4 year old son.
Cherie wrote: "This drunk guy is really annoying. I'm off to Boston."Yeah, he is really annoying. The friend isn't much better.
Lanelle wrote: "I'm out on the Pacific Ocean on a balsa log raft with 6 Scandinavian men and a parrot."Intrigued...
Ah, ok. I checked your shelf. Get it now!
Annerlee wrote: "I'm in Syria. The explosions are getting nearer, but I still feel safe enough to eat ice cream."I left Syria awhile ago...I'm traveling a bit ahead of you on the same path -- how are you liking it, Annerlee?
I'm on Isla Sorna enjoying the wonder of the island, but anxiously waiting to see how things fall apart.

Which intrigued you the most... the log raft, the 6 Scandinavian men, or the parrot? :)
I had to laugh, Lanelle. I thought I knew the book in your post, but I had to check too. Honestly, I did not remember the parrot. I read it so many years ago.

You were right! I cannot stand either of them. The narrator is doing such a good job that I want to quit the book! He is so good and they are so awful!
I am having a rough crossing. I am heading to a new life in Brooklyn. Would someone pleas stop rocking the ship? I just ate
It's Sunday, and that means my eyes are in Brooklyn, and my ears are somewhere in the realm of the First Empire.
My eyes are in Sarajevo my ears are trying to enter the Sea of monsters, but monsters are putting up a fight.
I'm visiting my friend Kenny, the rabbit. He has just found out he has a dragon living over the hill.

The six scandinavians were intriguing... the parrot shattered the illusion... Lol
I missed the check in yesterday but I was switching between Hollow County, Docktown, Everam's Bounty and some other fantasy places with my buddy read partners, Margo, Peggy, Esther and Jannene. Still there today, trying to catch my breath from all of the action.
