This challenge takes its inspiration from Bob and the gang who are always employing the three R's - Re-use, Recycle, Reduce.

(For those of you who are not exposed to toddler TV, here is the theme song - it made it to No 1 on the UK charts. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dO_PL3...)

The rules:
Books must be longer than 150 pages.
Paper, e-books and audio books may be used.
Books read between 1 July and 31 October 2014 may be used.

The tasks:
Recycle
1. Read a book in which a main character or key location is transformed (but not destroyed). Not in the sense of shapeshifters, but like a peasant becoming a queen or a passenger ship becoming a military vessel.
2. Read a book where an environmental issue is important to the plot
3. Read a book published in an environmentally responsible manner e.g on paper that carries the FSC logo or an e-book

Re-Use
4. Read a book you have read before
5. Read a book that you borrowed from the library or a friend
6. Read a book where the plot is a rework of another story e.g a rework of a fairy tale
7. Read a book that you can use in three or more challenges

Reduce
8. Read a review book (or a book that you have been meaning to read for a group read)
9. Read a book from the oldest 20 on your TBR list
10. Pick up a series you haven't read in at least 6 months, but have been meaning to finish, and read where you left of. (It can be any book in the series, as long as it is one you haven't read previously).

Points:
You can update in your original comment, just keep a total at the top or bottom of your comment. I will update the points from your original comment.
