Yeah, let's agree to disagree :)They aren't 16 anymore and I think they both know exactly what they want from life and from a partner and they both know they have found it and they are terrified to lose it. They are far from certain about each other (see Mike's thoughts when he talked to Winters) but they know they can be good together and they desperately want it to work after having been cut off from love/being disappointed by former lovers.
Oh, and I'm starting chapter 22 now :)

Snakes?? I hope Ele knows about this in case she hasn't read the book yet. I don't mind reading about snakes. I wouldn't want them as a necklace but seeing pictures and reading about them doesn't freak me out. But thanks for warning us, Christelle!!

And if he does and withholds this evidence then Kryukov wouldn't get a fair trial and that would warrant a mistrial.

I watched some of the public hearing the former FBI director Comey went through before the Senate when he accused Trump of misconduct and he stated several times that he can't answer questions because the answers are classified.
