I am currently reading I See You, and there are twins in the story. If you like thrillers, I highly recommend this book.
Audrey Niffeneger's book her fearful symmetry Diane setterfield The Thirteenth Tale
Any of the sweet valley books!
One is a verse novel about conjoined twins. I was going to read it this year, but may put it off until January.
In the same vein as One, Identical is another verse novel about twins. Might break my own rereading rule for that one.
Any of the Harry Potter books by J.K. Rowling should work, because they all include twins Fred & George Weasley, as well as a couple that mention Parvati & Padma Patil. Also, there are always the Bobbsey Twins children's series by Laura Lee Hope, as well as the old Sweet Valley High series by Francine Pascal. Plus, The Thirteenth Tale by Diane Setterfield has twins in it. That was one I read this year that was really good.
Here's a listopia with books about twins:

The Twins by Dutch writer Tessa de Loo deals with the lives of twins who were separated during World War II, one lives in Germany, one in the Netherlands and they reunite seventy years later.I haven't read it yet, but it sounds good.
Trina wrote: "Rainbow Rowell's Fangirl has a pair of twins."Oooh, THANK YOU - I was looking for a way to wedge this in!
Although I also have The Secret History sitting here waiting for me, and it has a pair of twins too.
As an identical twin myself and I also recommended this suggestion to PopSugar as a 2018 category, I am super excited to see that it made the list!:On my TBR list:
Identical Strangers: A Memoir of Twins Separated and Reunited
The Ice Twins
The Identicals
The Twins
Ronni wrote: "Madeleine L'Engle's series that starts with A Wrinkle in Time features twins!"woohoo! that book covers a lot of prompts
The Land of Stories series by Chris Colfer features twins. I just finished the first book in the series. I'll save one of the other 5 for this prompt.
Monkiecat wrote: "I'll Give You the Sun the two main characters are twins, and it goes back and forth from one voice to the other. Your mileage may vary, but I loved this one!"I second this!!!
Mike wrote: "I believe Alice in Wonderland would work for this."Tweedledee and Tweedledum don't appear until the sequel, Through the Looking-Glass, and What Alice Found There. Though both books are so short that they're often in one volume.

You beat me to it--that;s what I was going to say!
If someone wants to read in the contemporary romance genre:Truth or Beard
1st twin book Run to You and the 2nd twin What I Love About You
Nothing But Trouble
I Only Have Eyes for You
Always on My Mind
YA:
Paper Princess
Broken Prince
I'm hoping to read The Twins for this one. I've read The Memory Keeper's Daughter in the past and would definitely recommend it.

Thank you for clearing that up. I didn't realize.
The Secrets of the Immortal Nicholas Flamel series, beginning with The Alchemyst, features a set of twins.
If you are a comic book reader, I highly recommend Two Brothers It is not only about twins, it is also written/illustrated by twins! (Fabio Moon & Gabriel Ba are twins, despite the different last names.)
Found this on my shelf at home. I've never read it but it's a bind up of 2 books and the main characters are twins. Deceptions & A Tangled Web
I think I'm remembering correctly (if not somebody jump in), but doesn't Persuasion have a set of twins? Neither is the main character, but they feature prominently. It's been a while so I might reread that one.
Swedish YA I Miss You, I Miss You! has twin main characters. I've never read the English translation, so can't vouch for that, but I used to love this book. According to wikipedia, it's based on a true story.
Jackie wrote: "I think I'm remembering correctly (if not somebody jump in), but doesn't Persuasion have a set of twins? Neither is the main character, but they feature prominently. It's been a while s..."Henrietta and Louisa Musgrove are sisters very close in age, but I don't think they're twins.
Regarding The Shining, I think those characters were sisters in the book. It was only in the movie that they were twins.
Anna wrote: "Jackie wrote: "I think I'm remembering correctly (if not somebody jump in), but doesn't Persuasion have a set of twins? Neither is the main character, but they feature prominently. It's..."Drat, you're right. The book explicitly says they're 19 and 20.
https://images.gr-assets.com/books/13...Mirror Image by Danielle Steel. I have only read four of her books but LOVED them. So I am excited that I found a category where I can read another one of her books, and this one looks exceptionally good. PLUS my library has a copy! So I will know to check it out in 2018! :)
Trina wrote: "Regarding The Shining, I think those characters were sisters in the book. It was only in the movie that they were twins."I believe the actresses in the movie are also only sisters and not twins, too! I read and watched The Shining this year, and that was one of the biggest surprises based on what I knew from pop culture.

Identical Strangers: A Memoir of Twins Separated and Reunited by Elyse Schein and Paula Bernstein is currently #74 on that list (a large group have that ranking). It is written by two women, adopted by different families, who discovered as adults, not only were they twins, but part of a sociological study. Puts a case study and personal face on the sort of thing many of us today think ethically should not happen. Published in 2007, my f2f book group read it in 2009 to a strong discussion. [See also, Rachel @18.]
(I noticed Ovid's Metamorphoses is on that listopia. I don't remember which set of mythical twins he treats, but it reminded me that "Gemini" is another starter for looking for a twin story.)
