Diane setterfield The Thirteenth Tale
Any of the sweet valley books!

Also, there are always the Bobbsey Twins children's series by Laura Lee Hope, as well as the old Sweet Valley High series by Francine Pascal. Plus, The Thirteenth Tale by Diane Setterfield has twins in it. That was one I read this year that was really good.
Here's a listopia with books about twins:

I haven't read it yet, but it sounds good.

Oooh, THANK YOU - I was looking for a way to wedge this in!
Although I also have The Secret History sitting here waiting for me, and it has a pair of twins too.

On my TBR list:
Identical Strangers: A Memoir of Twins Separated and Reunited
The Ice Twins
The Identicals
The Twins

woohoo! that book covers a lot of prompts

I second this!!!

Tweedledee and Tweedledum don't appear until the sequel, Through the Looking-Glass, and What Alice Found There. Though both books are so short that they're often in one volume.

Also, there are always the..."
You beat me to it--that;s what I was going to say!

Truth or Beard
1st twin book Run to You and the 2nd twin What I Love About You
Nothing But Trouble
I Only Have Eyes for You
Always on My Mind
YA:
Paper Princess
Broken Prince

Tweedledee and Tweedledum don't appear until the sequel, [book:Through the Looking-Glass, and What Alice Found There|..."
Thank you for clearing that up. I didn't realize.

Henrietta and Louisa Musgrove are sisters very close in age, but I don't think they're twins.

Drat, you're right. The book explicitly says they're 19 and 20.

Mirror Image by Danielle Steel. I have only read four of her books but LOVED them. So I am excited that I found a category where I can read another one of her books, and this one looks exceptionally good. PLUS my library has a copy! So I will know to check it out in 2018! :)

I believe the actresses in the movie are also only sisters and not twins, too! I read and watched The Shining this year, and that was one of the biggest surprises based on what I knew from pop culture.

Identical Strangers: A Memoir of Twins Separated and Reunited by Elyse Schein and Paula Bernstein is currently #74 on that list (a large group have that ranking). It is written by two women, adopted by different families, who discovered as adults, not only were they twins, but part of a sociological study. Puts a case study and personal face on the sort of thing many of us today think ethically should not happen. Published in 2007, my f2f book group read it in 2009 to a strong discussion. (I noticed Ovid's Metamorphoses is on that listopia. I don't remember which set of mythical twins he treats, but it reminded me that "Gemini" is another starter for looking for a twin story.)
