Just sitting on the train back home after delivery daughter's knitwear off for a fashion shoot. My life is so glam.

Shouldn't have.
Lovely morning out and about with the munchkins. Now it's over, I can talk about it. Couldn't mention where we were going before for security reasons.
Our unit of inquiry is explorers. Well, bit more than that but that's the gist of it.
We had a wander through the old city, looking for evidence of the Silk Road. So much history, going back to before the common era.
There's still three intact caravanserai in the old city!
The kids loved looking for evidence of camels especially.

Sounds like a magical way to spend a day :-)
I bet the children will remember that when many other things have been forgotten

We just reaslied it is exactly 6 months til we get married!! I am so excited!!!!

Congrats to Emma and Benjamim for your six month anniversaries. You aren't married to each other by any chance?

Congrats ..."
Lol!! Silly!! I am not married yet (getting married in 6 months time) and Benjamin for married 6 months ago!
Good morning all!! Am heading down under today and am very excited (hence being awake at this time when I don’t have to be!!)
Have a great day all xx

Morning all. I had to draw on strong reserves of willpower just to leave the house in the face of this weather.

(actually it was the other way around - possibly one of the earliest examples of merchandising?)

I'm easily confused.

There was a fair bit about Baku and the Silk Road in a book I read recently:
The Silk Roads: A New History of the World

Highly recommended, especially if it turns up for 99p on Amazon again.

Forget housework. Buy chocolate. Best of luck with the doc.

Been a nice day here today. Goodness knows what the weekend will bring.

No MRI? You could have gotten in the queue for that while taking the antibiotic - and cancelled if the problem resolved. This has been going on for far too long, even if I just go by the posts here. My sympathies.

certainly the infection idea would explain a lot

Interesting, I thought she was bonkers!

It would only take a little bit of inflammation to push something 'out of line' or to put pressure on something.
And every time you put weight on it, you're putting even more pressure on it
I know with cattle and sheep, an infection deep within the foot can cause a lot of problems ( so I'm an expert :-) )
Seriously I don't know if your doctor is right, but I think it's worth a go

Or it's all an act so he doesn't have to help with packing. Don't care. He's still weighing the bags. I'm not gonna do my back in.
The flat is going to be freezing. Yay.

Bugger.
On a more positive note, the BBITW was fabulous in his play last night. But I would say that, wouldn't I?
Everyone have a good weekend.

When are you flying Patti? I know that feeling well Will, I always wake up earlier on a weekend.

The others like Lidl and Morrison’s have everything. . I got an order the day I came back off holiday before the snow and looking at my old order history there is at least 20 of those items marked unavailable today.

We did actually have a little snow for a quarter of an hour but the wind was so strong I don't think much of it hit the ground, it certainly didn't settle!

Saw the new Alicia Vikander Tomb Raider reboot last night - I'm impressed! (But you start to feel old when you notice the father figure is younger than you!)
