My old car was too much hassle, so I used to drive with it wrong half the year, one of the clocks in this is dead easy to change, just the second isn’t. Glad the book launch has started well MT, poor vole. Glad you aren’t too badly affected by the weather Kath.

Since Wednesday, I have been up at 5 am each day, and with clients from 8 am to almost midnight. Another long one today and more meetings over the weekend before I leave Vancouver on Sunday night. Mind you, I won't get home to Jersey until Monday night.
Hopefully, may get a little time to do my own stuff at the weekend.

I hope everyone else has a day to make them happy.

Now getting ready for the Christmas Fayre. Beautiful day here, but cold, very cold! I popped up to town this morning and am now relaxing. The vole is still somewhere in the utility room so the cat will have to sleep in the conservatory for a while.
Otherwise, all is dandy.
Cheers

Very nice of you to do that Kath. Glad you had a lovely memorial service MT.

Am home. Yippee! Flight from Vancouver was delayed over 2 hours and it was a bit of a dash getting from Heathrow to Gatwick, but I made it in time for the last flight. Mind you, am in London again on Wednesday!
Kath, that was lovely of you.
MT, glad the memorial went well. Hope your mum is okay. x

Sunny today but perishing. First hard frost so I gave Mattie Chicken a warm mash, with added mealworms and cod liver oil. Ghastly smell but she loved it.
A day at home with some beta reading planned. A great book that I'm already half way through (started yesterday!)

Glad you are home safely Kelly, even though it was a bit of a rush! Sorry you are travelling again this week though. Your day sounds much more fun than mine Kath!

Desley, hope you're feeling better. That sounds like a really bad headache.

Desley, hope your head’s better.
Cheers

have you had a flu jab Desley, my daughter has been complaining of a really bad headache since hers. Hope you feel better soon.
The mars bar disappeared without springing the trap, it’s a cage with a door. (They also disappeared from inside the house but I owned up to that) . Tonight he’s put the chocolate on a string and caught the culprit eating it. The tiniest little vole - no wonder it didn’t have the weight to spring the door shut. It looked at him, ate some more Mars bar then walked out through the bars, it was so small. I saw a fox too in the street light. crossing the road from the chinese restaurant so wild life is really well fed round here.

Desley, hope your head’s better.

Not gone if remembered, and I speak from experience.
Feel better Desley.
Have a good day all.

Our little vole will be too fat to squeeze through the bars if it eats more chocolate. Crafty little soul couldn’t reach the mars bar so it chewed through the string it was threaded on. Can’t fault it’s logic. I don’t care so long as it isn’t rats. Can’t stand them.
Wicked weather here today. I’m hoping I’m not on the school run but had better not have a glass of wine with lunch just in case. I’m on standby anyway.

Aww, I’m glad your mum seems to be doing fine MT, it is a strange feeling when the last thing is done. I did have my flu jab a couple of weeks ago Lynne, I have had a cough since, but forgot to tell the asthma nurse that! Aww, bless the little vole.

The series has just finished and I would love to interview some authors from 16-25 about their writing and their work.
If this is you, you can DM me to enquire. I look to start up my Type Cast Young Writers' blog after Christmas.

Lynn, our vole is still at large under our fridge as far as I can tell. There's nothing for it to mate with here so we've kind of give up for now!
Just went to Sussex today, was stuck at the tunnel for an hour and a half and then for another hour on the M11. So long that I had to park the car on the hard shoulder, climb up the bank and have a wee ... still that got the traffic moving, at once!

By heck, it's flipping cold here!

Bet that was interesting Kath – wonder if it will result in some of them buying some of your other books?

Hoping I’ve not got to go out for the school run. There’s no shelter at all while waiting as they have to keep gates locked for security. I’m not against that for the children’s sake and protection but it really makes you wonder about the state of society. Very sad.

sounds a fascinating evening

Had to dash into town late afternoon, the Christmas lights are on and all looking very festive.

No rain in California in our part yet - but has a true Blustery Day yesterday, so I couldn't ride the Airwheel to the doctor's office only a few blocks away, but had the usual interested questions.
So glad you got your book discussed, Kath - I haven't had that yet, and I hope I do some day.
Glad you found your phone, Desley.
Sounds like the Memorial Service was special, MT.
I think about you and the kids, too, Darren.

Hope you had a good time in London R. Blimey, that seems early for Christmas lights Kelly. Glad you are doing a lot of community stuff Alicia, hope it isn’t too tiring for you. Sorry to hear your daughter has been so ill since her flu jab Lynne, do hope the hospital sort her out, what a heartless reaction from her manager.

That's absolutely fucking shocking. I'm sorry. I hope she's OK.

That is disgraceful Lynne, do they not have a union?

My car clock reads 3 am at 5.30 pm when I pick up my lad. Nobody can fix it, I’ve noticed the service people have left it well alone, even when it was dealer serviced.
