Back home - and at work - after 3 weeks at the seaside with the usual really complicated intenrnet connection - I have to say that Bog Child by Siobhan Dowd has been the best read I've sone this Summer.

The Contract With God Trilogy: Life on Dropsie Avenue (4-star) - I enjoyed this look at Faith, contemplation, immigration & change told with one location, Dropsie Avenue, as the background.

I've been meaning to read it forever, but it was the August group read in Catching up on Classics that prompted me to finally do it, and I'm so glad I did Nidhi. I loved it - hope you do, too. :)
