As I seem to be on a role with nonfiction lately, I will add that one to my "check at the library" list.

B. P. Rinehart (ken_mot) Just finished reading Lost in the City: Stories Lost in the City Stories by Edward P. Jones by Edward P. Jones. For me this book was a walk back in time of my hometown in the mid to late 20th century and it was nice to reminisce on the old times of my youth.

PattyMacDotComma I just enjoyed the children's picture book of the colourful, (some might say outrageous, especially her fashion designs) Vivienne Westwood by Mª Isabel Sánchez Vegara. What a wildly inventive lady and role model for kids to learn it's good to stick up for others and protest against evil.

PattyMacDotComma The current Buzz Books 2020: Spring/Summer is chock-a-block with excerpts from all kinds of new books and it's free for anyone. But be warned that it will tempt your wallet. I picked a few I like the look of.

Leslie | 16369 comments I read one of my Xmas gift books - Big Little Lies by Lianne Moriarty. 4.5*

I guess that from the title I had expected chick lit or, as a friend called it, "airport fiction". This book was so much better than that. It deals with some difficult issues in a delicate and well rounded manner while still providing a ripping good story. I recommend it to all.
