Fiction- What are you reading? Part 2
I'm reading Olivia by Dorothy Strachey, of the Bloomsbury group; interesting.
Anche along with it, a nice cozy mystery by an Italian writer: Annabella Abbondante. Il passato è una curiosa creatura (La giudice ficcanaso Vol. 3)

I am listening to The Lake House on Audible, and after 2 hours I wasn't sure if I should continue. Such slow start, but now the plot started clearing up a bit and I am just now getting into it. This is the first of Kate Morton book I am reading, so I am not sure if this is her style or it's just this book, but it was so hard to keep up with stories of different characters when they are so disconnected that for the first two hours I couldn't follow who is in what time period and role. I am now on chapter 7 and think it's a promising plot

I’m reading Household Gods by Judith Tarr which I discovered thanks to Jo Walton’s What Makes This Book So Great: Re-Reading the Classics of Science Fiction & Fantasy. It’s a fun story and a clever narrative.
I'm almost done with The Good Man Jesus and the Scoundrel Christ by Philip Pullman. An interesting retelling of the story of one of the most important religious figures.
Started Oil and Marble - but I'm not liking it at all; I'll write about it in the right discussion though

Oh dear, I have it waiting in my audible app. But it looks like it's a short one and I didn't pay for it.

But you may like it!!! Listen to it and then we'll talk. I find discussion more interesting if we are not of the same opinion!

Yes, I'm halfway through Demon Copperhead, so I will be starting Oil and Marble next.

Having been reading too many serious/depressing books lately so I decided to reread Anne of Green Gables via audiobook. It works for the group color challenge and always makes me feel good!

I think you'd better write also the title: it is not always so easy to see or understand what you'reading!

Currently reading Delicate Condition by Danielle Valentine. I'm enjoying it so far. It's sort of like a modern day retelling of Rosemary's Baby.
One by One by Freida McFadden
Springtime in Salt River / Love Thine Enemy by RaeAnne Thayne
Angels at the Table by Debbie Macomber
Purchased The Foxglov King on a whim as the cashier saw me looking at the synopsis and raved about it. Has anyone else read it and what were your thoughts if so? I don’t usually purchase based on opinions solely- I usually read a random page, and if I am gripped, make a decision. Its also not my usual genre so am I going to be disappointed in this?
Save Me by Sharon Sala
The Walk by Richard Paul Evans
Heart to Heart by Lurlene McDaniel
Prey by Lurlene McDaniel
Still reading Flawed by Cecelia Ahern. I took a break between the readathons. But I am currently reading this for the second time. I'm not sure if it's me getting more out of it because I am reading it again or maybe because I've developed more knowledge about how marginalised groups are usually treated but I feel like I'm getting more out of the book this time and enjoying it a lot more.
I'm inside a huge read: started some 10 days ago the saga of Lonesome dove, with the first published: Lonesome Dove by Larry McMurtry.
An extreamly interesting book - "paying" when it was written (indians instead of Native Americans, and things like that). But it is extramely beautuful!

At the moment I've started On Division by Goldie Goldbloom, strongly suggested by a book friend of mine.
But today I'm all day at work, and tomorrow in the afternoon I've an engagement at my library... don't know when I'll be able of entering into it well
