I don't understand the criteria at all. There's a lot of artists I love on it but I wouldn't have listed them in the best 200. I think I justified about 31.

It didn't take me that long to scan through it and note some glaring omissions (IMHO) but hopefully a list as outlined above will make it easier for everyone.
P.S. Yes, Tabu Ley Rochereau is on it (No.178) and therefore ineligible.

Apologies Helen! There are some alternative versions out there. The Stranglers did Walk On By. Regurgitator did The Man Who Shot Liberty Valance and The Avalanches did Do You Know The Way To San Jose.
