Goodreads Aussie Authors place request to be added to list here

We are building up a database of Australian authors who are also Goodreads members. It gives you, the author, a chance to get to know each other if you haven't already met and it gives us (your avid reading public!) a chance to try some home grown talent. If you'd like to be added to the list please request in this thread.

Heads up - we list our authors by first name then surname.

PLEASE NOTE: Before you request to be added to the list we would like you to have an author's profile, which is part of the Goodreads author program. Instructions on how to go about getting this can be found at the link here: https://www.goodreads.com/author/program

Basically it will give you, the author, your own profile where you can add your own books, videos, blog entries "plus" be able to publicise upcoming events and add your author widget to your own website.

From the moderators point of view it will also help us to add you to the list, and the avid reading public will see all your details as soon as they click on the link.

Not being an author I am not really in the right position to advise - but first up I would set your own thread up in our authors area here: https://www.goodreads.com/topic/group...

Have a look at what the other authors are doing in there in their threads - but at the very least link us to your book/books and to where we can get our hands on copies to buy.

Also join some of the writer/author Goodreads groups for support and advice - I am sure there are a couple for indies.
