Mad About Series Challenge - 2018
I'm 2 books behind. :( I best get started on the Bridgerton series before I have to return them to the library.
Ooh. Apparently I'm ahead of schedule on this one! Nice. But I'm behind on Romance Across the Ages, so I'd better not start gloating!

Bridgertons are funny and light reads. I think, once you start the series, you will soon find yourself ahead of the schedule:)

So, you can gloat all you want:)

Thanks but I found a few other series that I've become interested in and will keep the press.
If anyone's tackling Julie Anne Long's Pennyroyal Green Series, 4 of the books are on sale at a reduced price at the moment.
After two disappointing Julia Quinn books in a row (When he was Wicked and To Catch an Heiress), I need a break from her.
Missy wrote: "After two disappointing Julia Quinn books in a row (When he was Wicked and To Catch an Heiress), I need a break from her."I have felt the same way before. Take a break and come back!
I'm a little behind, but I'm really thankful to Priya for reading the Desperate Duchess books with me, if it was just me I don't think I'd get through them all.
Lorien wrote: "I'm a little behind, but I'm really thankful to Priya for reading the Desperate Duchess books with me, if it was just me I don't think I'd get through them all."Ditto! I wouldn't have made it through the series without you reading along!
I'm up to-date on this challenge *grins* (unlike some of my other challenges LOL). *frowns* Just finished The Sins of Lord Lockwood
which I gave 3 stars. A bit disappointing. I've read a couple more in the Pennyroyal Green series too. I'm quite liking that series.
Just caught up today, by reading a book in a day ( I wasn't feeling good enough to work) . Just finished A Week to Be Wicked by Tessa Dare. Loved it, but I think Dare is pretty much an automatic 4 star with me.
I completed the Bridgerton series! Woohoo! I'll be starting on The Chance Sisters series by Anne Gracie next since my library has all four books on audio. Yeah!

Karishma wrote: "Can I join in now?"Yes, you can join at any time. If you have read any series earlier this year, you can consider those too for the challenge. All you have to do is tag those books to the bookshelf linked to your series challenge. I hope you have enjoy the challenge.
I have the Bedwyn and the Mackenzies and McBrides series to complete. Then if there's time, I'll begin a new series by Anne Gracie or Mary Balogh.

Yes, that sounds great!
I have a question for you all:Are you reading your series in sequence by book, or are you jumping around from series to series.
I’m jumping around. I have finished 2 series. One is a duology, the other only has four books.
You all who are reading/have finished 5 series with 9 separate titles have put me in the shade.
I jump around. If a book is also available on audio at my library, then I usually complete them first (since I like to multi-task) before moving on to books not available on audio.
I jump around too. Sometimes i get a bit sick of reading one book after another of the same series, so I take a break then go back later. And sometimes I read a series out of order if there's a particular one I'm keen to start reading. With some series it doesn't seem to matter, but other series (e.g. the Ravenels) I think are much better read in order.

Sure.
Edit: Changed!

I am reading my series in order, like I usually do. But at times when I felt a need for a break, I just read books for Romance across the ages or from my tbr. And then I went back to the series.
Priya,What I meant is “are you just plowing through series or do you read a book in series a, then jump to series c and read the next book to be read in another series.
I’m not read the series books one after another within the series. I’m read the books within the series in order, but I’m jumping around among the various series.’
I prefer to plow through a series. I have been Buddy reading the McKenzie and McBride's, so that has been ongoing since the beginning of the year. All of the other series I have completed thus far, I read the books back to back within days of each other.

I would love to join you guys for the The brothers Sinister series.
Jan, I'm the same way, too, in that I need a break from an author after reading two or three books of hers. This could explain why I have a few incomplete series where if I could just push myself to complete the last book (not necessarily the last book in the series), then I'll be done with the entire series.

I jump around from series to series too, mostly it's because I don't have the next one yet. Or I just have others I want to read more. But also sometimes I just like changing up the authors. This does make finishing some series hard though.
I'm new to this group not sure how this works, love these reads. I most enjoy highlander series but also others. If I could get suggestions I would be most appreciative. Many thanks

Oops! I got it wrong.
I plough through a series, before picking up another. The only exception is Desperate Duchesses series. Lorien and I are buddy reading this series at a rate of one book per month.
